Chapter 14: Portals And Dungeons

Portals and Dungeon.

The dungeon is where the Monster resides and not only Monsters, there are also Intelligent humanoid creatures in the Dungeon that are still unknown to the world. 

While Portal is a gateway, A  gateway that leads to the dungeon inside the portal.

Portals also have their distinctness and that distinctness was how the Gifters classified the portals by their levels. Higher grades mean the most alarming enemies there are in the dungeons.

That's also how they classify people that can fight with their unique Abilities. 

The Portals have the contour of an Octagon.

A unique form for a portal. And there are 5 colors the portals exhibit. Which is colored

White for easy/low, Green for normal, Blue for Medium, Red for Hard, and Black for the Unknown.

If there's no Monster arriving out of the portals, then for certain they will be a great attraction with how they appeared around the world with different colors.

But alas, beauty entices dangers even if it is just a portal. Its beauty was so great that it even attracted the attention of the other dimension dwellers. 

The White was the lowest and the black had the Highest dungeon in the portal.

Ian now understands the information about the portal's leveling. Another knowledge was added to his brain.

And hearing Mia mentions the Tier makes him think. 

'From what I remember there's no Tier on the portals that Lily explains right?' he thought. And asked Lily for confirmation.

"Do you know what Tier that Mia mentioned earlier Lily?

『hmm~ hmm~ AH! I receive it Masta~ due to the evolution that occurred, not only Humanity benefited but also the portals, so what Masta mentioned earlier Lily didn't know, but now Lily knows. 

The tier that masta inquired about was a multiplier that makes the MONSTERS on the dungeon become stronger and also increased in numbers. 

There are also three Tiers. The higher the tier the higher the risk the dungeon possess.』

"Ohh! I didn't think that there's still a difference. By the way, is there a means to distinguish the color of portals that have a high tier or low tier ?"

『hmm~ hmm~ The portal is an octagon with a line as the border and that line signifies the 1st Tier which is a higher tier. The less the Line in the portals represents the dangers it has.』

"I see, I see. Hmm~ hmm~ My Lily is a Genius. " Ian praised.

『hehe~ thank you masta~』

"So? You plan to join the raid?" The cold voice of Mia was heard on the phone.

Ian was startled. He forgot that Mia was still on the line. Thankfully he talked to Lily in his mind or else she will suspect him as mentally retarded who talked to himself.

"Yes! Yes! I want to join the Raid." he immediately answered.

"I warned you and you still didn't listen. Ok, it's your choice. The start of the raid is at 9 pm and the location is XXxxxXXXx." she paused for a minute and asked again.

"Are you sure you didn't want me to kill you? If you die in the dungeon your body will become a portion of food for the monsters but if you choose my method even your body will evaporate after it freezes you. "

"Hahaha Ms. Manager your joke is funny but no thanks if you're serious since I don't plan to die yet" Ian was speechless. He just has been reincarnated so who wants to die again.

"Very well, it's a pity but Good luck."

*beep *beep

Ian didn't know whether to cry or laugh at her antics. But he didn't take it to heart since he knows that he won't die that easily precisely because he has the system and the items from the other world.

Ian looked at the clock and saw that it's still 1 o'clock. He had a lot of time to prepare but the first thing he needed to get was food since he was hungry with 3 days' sleep without eating. 

If not for the pills he would surely starve, even if he is above normal he has still the body system of a human, he will still die if his body didn't get its proper nutrients and he Is not a cultivator for fu**ked up shake that doesn't need to eat.

With Jersey as his outfit, he walked out of his house. He walked for a minute before he was at ground level since lived on the 3rd floor.

He planned to dine at the restaurant but remember the sad reality that he didn't have enough crystal; he altered his directory since he had no choice.

Beggar can't be picky. So his destination is to the nearest 7/7 store. It's still afternoon so the store was still open. Since their open/close time is 7 am/7 pm that's why it's called 7/7, unlike his previous life that has 7/11.

After walking for 15 minutes he arrives at the shop that has the logo of 7/7 on top of the building. He entered and saw no one. He looked around the store and only saw the cashier girl that's playing with her phone.

'What rude service she didn't even greet me. If I am her Manager I will fire her for sure' he thought.

Ian selected three adobos flavored ready to eat food on the corner that only needed to be heated. Since he didn't have enough crystal, he needed to select carefully lest he embarrasses himself.

He also picked soft drinks and mmm chocolate for the snack.

The total he paid was 2 crystals and 50 pesos. He paid for 3 crystals and got a change of 50 pesos.

(A/N; Just think of the currency from your country so you don't become confused.(1 crystal = 100 pesos.)

Ian waited for his adobo flavored food that was on the heater which was being warmed up by the cashier girl. Ian didn't know why but the girl kept peeking at his face which made him frown. He plans to ask why but stops himself since his food was already ready.

Although curious he didn't ask her and directly left the store since he was hungry that he didn't need to satisfy his curiosity.

Ian's total money now is just 50pesos. The former Ian spent his money on the prostitute that he brought home before he died so the current him is poor. Thankfully he has a raid later so he won't have to worry about his meal.

Walking out of the store Ian directly walks to his apartment because he still needs to analyze the other items he won on the lottery.  After all his priority was on the pills that he just saw the other pictures and not their description, so he didn't know if there are useful items that can be used later.

After another 15 minutes of a walk he saw his apartment but what bothered him was his neighbor gawking at him as if they saw a ghost.

Especially the two middle-aged men in the weapon stalls. He didn't know why they gaped at him with a look of a dead that rose and reborn?

Although he didn't know them, he often saw them since they are near his apartment.

He just ignored them since he was also in a hurry for he was still hungry.
