CHAPTER 139: DINNER (1)

I went to the pet's house and took K'nor to the smithy. Everybody once again screamed with joy and surprise seeing him. Sophia, especially, almost melt on him, caressing his fur. Which reminds me that both his fur and my hair are way too long. I should find a way to cut them.

After Sophia took our measurements, I left the place but Claire's husband followed us.

"Let's go to our house for lunch." Is what he has written on a piece of paper he showed to me.

"Hm…Okay." It seems I can't escape that after all.

I follow him and, on the road, people look at us, or more at K'nor, like owls. Their eyes are about to pop out of their sockets. Thankfully, K'nor doesn't seem to be too hungry because we pass by a stall selling fresh meat but he didn't even make a sound. He just follows me happily with his tail waving every time I pat him.

"You are the best."

"Woof!"
