I could feel it. something was coming, and it didnt seem friendly. this disturbed me. i took out the Fire-Sticks i had loaned to the two warriors, when it hit me. i had instructed the Gatherers and Warriors to gather technology, right? why wouldnt i be able to reproduce these Weapons?
i went out and got some blank stone slabs that the Architects were using to plan the construction with, then went to my quarters. i carefully examined the Fire-Stick, looking for how to open it,when i levitated it in the air.
i then felt the force guide my actions, whispering to me to rotate part of the stick while holding the other part steady, just so...
and it slid open, the end letting the internals slide out slowly. i saw a beautiful gleeming red gemstone, glowing like the ones in the Caverns below. i gingerly touched it with my claw, and i felt a sudd3n rush of information regarding how to harvest these gems, h8w to build these weapons, to pilot ships...
it was as if i was remembering my own past. a past self that i had forgotten. I was... exhilarated! so much new information! i immediately began processing everything the Soul Gem was whispering to me.
it was then i saw my first birth. it was over 5,000 years ago. i paused and focused in on that memory.
Dromund Kaas, 5,000 Years Ago
"how is the experiment proceeding?" Voice Number One said.
"Not well, my Lord. So far we have only managed to successfully produce 5 embryos, only two of which have survived to this point. should i proceed with phase 3?" Number Two asked, hesitant.
"Yes. Our Emperor grows impatient. i dont need to remind you what happaned to your predecessor, do i? the one who neglected his duties and allowed the other embryos to die?" Number One threatened.
"No, my Lord. I will be keeping a close eye on these two, personally." Number Two replied, bowing to his Master.
"Good. Place the eggs in a place rich with darkside Force energy. if those eggs die in your care, you will die as well." Number One reminded Number Two, then left the room.
"I really hope these things survive this time" he muttered as he moved my and my siblings eggs to a safer, more energy rich environment. the feeling was mutual.
I opened my eyes, and allowed the world arround me to reassert itself. I glanced at the red gem, its glow having dulled, and reconstructed my lightsaber. There would be time to remeber my training in more detail later. For now, there was work to be done.
Endor, One Year Later,
It was Feast Time in the E-wok Village. The one year celebration of our arrival on Endor, and the anniversary of the arrival of the 'Mother Goddess' as the E-woks call me. I had gone through my memories and relearned most of the abilities that my Sith masters had to teach. i stood before the Story Wall of the E-wok Village, brooding.
I had mastered elemental manipulation via the Force within my first year as a trainee in the Sith Academy of Koriban. Comprehend Speech, Mechu-Deru, and its variants, which allow one to make machines out of organic matter, or to turn organic matter into machines. I found the mind trick techniques... fascinating, if useless for controlling my swarm.
My old master pointed out that while unnecessary for controlling my swarm, if i were to perfect my technique, it would allow me to thoroughly indoctrinate enemy forces, effectively brainwashing them into being my loyal and obedient slaves.
That danger that i had sensed a year ago... it was getting closer. i gathered my forces, and instructed them to take the E-woks to the main Nest, named Moribund in honor of my creators, the Sith. i had expanded my hive five fold in the past year.
I Summoned my Honor Guard, Seren, Furen, Hoden, and Solen. Water, Fire, Earth, Air. These four are the only ones i have permitted to develop a personality, and are completely loyal to me. Each wielded a single lighsaber, a light red almost pink in color, with a black core, which took the form of war axes. they had another that took the form of a large round shield as well. Each had mastered one of the Elements, and the names i gave them were old swarmling words for these same elements.
they each had four wings, signifying they had a personality and that they were authorized to venture into space and interact with other species should the chance arise. the red markings of a stylized image of my head with my six wings was emblazoned in red upon thier shoulders, marking them as my personal gaurd.
then it happened. the 'danger' exploded in the skies above Endor, and a ship could be seen exiting hyperspace. this made me even more cautious, as it wasnt a ship i had seen before. i waited, sending the emotionless scouts out to follow the ship, as the could turn completely invisible and using art of the small, could now make themselves completely undetectable by all but the strongest of my former masters. the strange ship flew past the village a ways then landed.
On the Ship
"Where are we master?"
"According to the Nav-Charts, above Endor. Why do you ask, young Qui Gon?"
"There is something on the planet below.. something.. dark. and ancient. and ... angry. i dont like it. we should leave."
"We were tasked by the Council to find the source of the disturbance Master Yoda felt a year ago. We havent yet found it, so we stay." Dooku says as he deftly navigates their shuttle to land on the planets surface, trying to find a place to land.
"look master! A village! lets land near..." the young padawans breath catches in his throat as they crest a large hill and see a massive black mountain, with a gleeming black castle atop it, in the distance, about a days hike from the village.,
As they approach the surface of Endor, they both feel the Dark rising up to meet them.
