"Are you sure you're alright?" He asked you for nth time this day.

"Yes Harry" you answered still pretty politely as you could clearly see he was so concerned. He was too afraid that he might've hurt you yesterday.

"Harry tell me again" Hermione asked.

You were with Harry and his friends figuring out what his clue meant. Maybe if the two of you weren't so busy fucking yesterday, maybe you could've solved what he needed by now.

"Come seek where our voices sound"

"The black lake, that's obvious" Hermione said walking around.

"An hour long you have to look"

"Again obvious though..." she paused trying to figure out what else is there to say.

"If it's the black lake, then you'd probably be swimming in it. Looking for a treasure or something" you told Harry.

"...I was about to say potentially problematic" Hermione said as you probably solved what the task was about, all Harry needed now was probably a potion or sort.

"Potentially problematic? When was the last time you held your breath under the water for over an hour Hermione?" Harry asked out of pressure and anxiety from his upcoming task.

You made soothing motions on his back and he seemed to soften and relax from it. He put his hand to rest on your thighs and he smiled at you.

"Look Harry, we can do this. The four of us can figure it out " Hermione reassured.

You felt sad too knowing that you don't really have something to help Harry stay underwater.

Mad eye moody appeared at the doorway and approached the four of you.

"Hate to break the scholar session but professor McGonagall would like to see you in her office--not you Potter, just Granger and Maxwell"

Ron was confused because he didn't hear anything for him one bit.

"But sir, the second task is only hours away--" both you and Hermione chorus.

"Exactly! Presumably Potter is well prepared by now and could do with a good night's sleep. Go Weasley, Longbottom!" Professor Mad-eye said.

Neville then awkwardly appears from behind a shelf and the 3 boys continued on.

"Why don't you help Potter put his books back"

Neville blabbed some herbology things and Harry couldn't careless. Ron on the other hand was just there awkwardly skipping rocks.

"Neville, no offense but I don't care about plants. Now if there's a Tibetan turnip that will allow me to breathe underwater for an hour then great" he said as he was clearly tensed up again.

"I don't know about a turnip but you can always use gilliweed" Neville answered in hopes to help Harry.

The Weasley twins were busy taking bets from everyone as Harry, Ron and Neville were walking together. They were discussing how Neville had his doubts if the gilliweed would last over an hour.

With the event now starting, everybody was anticipating what could possibly happen with the 2nd task.

"Welcome to the second task. Last night something was stolen from each of our champions. A treasure of sorts. These four treasures, one for each champion, now lie on the bottom of the black lake. In order to win each champion need only find their treasure and return to the surface. Simple enough. Except for this, they will have one hour to do so and one hour only. After that they'll be on their own." Dumbledore announced.

"Where is Cho? The 2nd task is about to start..." a fellow ravenclaw asked in dismay.

"(y/n) is also missing" Luna answered.

"Oh yeah, now that you mentioned her too. Their boyfriends are either gonna live or die any minute now, and they're not here to show support"

Everybody looked at that one random ravenclaw and she immediately took back her words.

Harry scanned the area looking for you, Cedric did the same looking for Cho. What on earth was happening? Where were you ? Harry then took the gilliweed in his mouth and he was clearly struggling with it.

The canon suddenly went off which indicated that the 2nd task had started.

Mad-eye then pushed Harry in to the water and the crowd could not get any response from the surface. Neville started to think that he killed Harry... He then jumped out of the water shouting happily and everybody cheered.

Harry seemed to be amazed that he got to adapt in order to survive in the water. He was enjoying his transformation so far til' he remembered that he needed to finish this task first.

He swam in excitement but not forgetting his priorities. He then saw a bit of gold lights glowing in front of him. He looked around and saw a few merpeople swimming around. He looked back at the glowing light, and it now formed a long line, like it was leading him to something. He undoubtedly followed it for a moment and it led him to you.

He saw you frozen and tied up on one leg, along with other students as well. He finally understood that you were the treasure that he needed to find. He smiled and didn't pay much attention to the lights that led him there. Cedric then arrived and immediately took Cho with him as he reminded Harry about the time. Harry nodded and was about to untie Hermione too but he was warned by the merpeople that he could only save one. And so he wanted to make sure everyone was safe before he leaves the water with you.

Viktor Krum came in a with a speedy swim and immediately took Hermione with him.

Harry looked around and saw that the merpeople were going away, so he took this opportunity to free Gabrielle-- Fleur's sister as well. While he was swimming towards the surface, the gilliweed's effect was already wearing off. Grindylow creatures started to swarm onto him and he decided to let go of you and Gabrielle as he descended deeper into the water with hundreds of grindylows attacking him.

You and Gabrielle finally reached the surface and you were a little clueless that you were with Fleur's sister. Where was Harry?

Other students then helped you get out of the water after you helped Gabrielle go up first.

Draco went up to you without any hesitation and gave you a towel to cover up. You were soaked in water and everybody could see what was underneath your blouse. If you were given a heads up that they were gonna put you in the water then you could've at least had a chance to wear your vest, but you didn't.

"Thanks" you mouthed. Hermione approached you and her face was clearly disgusted by Draco's presence alone. She stared at him intensely and Draco went away awkwardly. Cho then approached you and hugged you tight.

"Why is Draco giving you towels?" Hermione asked.

"uhm.. He--" you were about to reply but Cho cut you off.

"His father and (y/n)'s father are close friends... " Cho said as you looked at her.

"...and Draco fancies her." Cho continued.

"Yeah, exactly." you said as you thought it was kind of unnecessary for her to butt in but you were also grateful that she did.

"Where's Harry?" You asked as you were still wondering why you didn't reach the surface with him.

"We don't know..." Cho and Hermione replied.

All of you stared in to the lake, waiting for him to emerge.

"There!" Ron shouted in relief as all of you rushed to help him.

"You gave me another heart attack !" you said as he was settling down, catching his breath.

He was chuckling when Fleur and his sister came to thank him. You were eyeing Fleur as she gave Harry some kisses on his cheeks. He panicked a little bit and then gave her an awkward smile. He then looked at you and teased him a bit by raising your eyebrow.

"that was nothing, I swear !" He said and you laughed at him.

"I'm just joking!" you said in between your laughs.

"Attention! Attention! The winner is..." Dumbledore said and everybody anticipated for the announcement.

"Mr. Diggory !" The crowd cheered very loudly especially the hufflepuffs.

"For showing unique command of the bubblehead charm. The way I see it, Mr. Potter would have finished first had it not been for his determination to rescue not only Ms. Maxwell but the others as well. We've agreed to award him second place! For outstanding moral fibre."Dumbledore continued and everybody cheered while some were angry that Viktor came in 3rd.

You were holding hands with Harry on your way back to hogwarts, talking about random stuff.

"I was really confused a while ago, I got into the surface and then I saw Fleur's sister and I wondered what happened to Harry?" you told him and he was laughing.

"I wanted to make sure that everybody was safe, and she was just a kid... " Harry said and both of you stopped for a bit. "The black lake is full of creatures, I couldn't leave her there." He continued.

Both of you were about to kiss when Draco purposely bumped your shoulder as he walked past the both of you.

"Get a room !" Crabbe mocked followed by "you still stink Potter" from Goyle.

"What's his problem ?" Harry asked in annoyance.

"Don't mind him" you smiled and continued to walk just when Barty Crouch talked to Harry for a bit. You went off ahead of him alone, you were still smiling. You tried to keep yourself warm as you did came from the black lake and somehow only had a jacket to do so. You were suddenly snatched away and shrieked for a bit. You were caught off guard, you were so scared that what happened inside the hospital wing might happen again.

You were so pissed that it was only Draco.

"What is wrong with you?!" you said to him and he put his hand on your mouth and peaked behind you, he saw Harry talking to Barty Crouch. He pulled you with him deep within the forest and waited for to Harry walk away. After a few minutes he did, and you smacked him on his chest.

He didn't let you go away as he was holding your arm.

"Let me go Draco !" you said to him but he wasn't taking orders from you today.

He pinned you against a tree and asked you "Is it true, did you do it with Harry?"

"Do what?" you snapped at him.

"Did you have sex with him ?" he asked eager to know.

"how on earth--"

"Just answer the question !" He said leaning towards you.

"Because I can't sleep every night thinking that he touched you..." he said slightly whispering while caressing your face carefully.

"yes... we did." you answered truthfully and he was silent for a moment.

He carefully kissed you. You didn't resist however, you closed your eyes and waited for him to part away from you.

"...After all this, can we promise never to speak again?" you asked deeply staring at him.

"is this the last time?" he asked sadly.

You just stared at him passionately and kissed him. You closed your eyes and a tear fell down from it.

You knew it was time to say good bye so you went with the flow, let both of you have a moment for the last time. In fact all your moments with Draco was commonly messy, nothing really cute or so except when he was cheering you up when you and Harry broke up. But this time, you knew he deserved it even if you guys weren't officially together.

He felt how sincere you were and somehow even thought that you might be having feelings for him. He then carried you and you legs wrapped around his waist as your back rested against a tree.

"If only you could see how they looked at you when you emerged from the water." He said as he started kissing your neck.

"...everybody wants you" he continued.

"but I got you here"

"Am I only a trophy for you Draco?" you asked softly as he slowly put you down, your hands were still on his shoulder.

"of course not..." he answered and you believe him. You kissed him again and both of you parted.

"It's too cold here, I have a tent set out..." he shyly told you.

"You did all these?" you asked.

"You make me insane (y/n)... you make me do things that I didn't even think I'd ever do." Draco whispered as he led you inside the tent.

It was simple, just a few candles for a bit of light and lot's of pillows in an area.

"All these efforts but I never treated you right." you replied to him as both of you settled down.

"You already know my feelings for you... I want to know how you feel about me." he said kissing the top of your hand. You looked at him sincerely and caressed his face gently. You initiated the kiss again and let the both of you continue where you left off.

"Are you comfortable?" he asked every once in a while as he helped you remove your jacket and blouse.

He showered you with kisses. You started tearing up knowing that you already have feelings for him and all but you know you two can't be together. You loved Harry too, and you knew you had to choose. For the last time with Draco, you decided to do it with him and after this, you had to let him go.

Both of you went on, giving sensual and passionate kisses to each other. He was starting to kiss you towards your area and you could really feel the overwhelming feelings you had for him. Your tears started to drip down your eyes and he immediately stopped. He stared at you, you could see how concerned he was.

"I'm fine don't worry" you said to him.

"why are you crying?" he asked.

You pulled him closer to you and gestured him that it's alright if he enters you.

"I... I love you" you said to him passionately and he kissed you. He then went inside you and showered you with kisses while you adjusted to his size. The same golden string embraced the two of you and you thought it was just some love magic or sort.

By then the night felt warm as the two of you filled in each other's high.

Both of you fell asleep in each other's arms and by morning you purposely woke up earlier than him.

"I love you, but I don't want to continue hurting you." you whispered to him while caressing his face.

You kissed him lightly on his lips and then you left and went back to your dormitory.

Draco however, wasn't really sleeping during that time. He heard your words and it struck him like a knife towards his heart.
