"Where were you yesterday?" Harry asked as he approached your table during lunch.
"I was--"
"She was kind of sick because we were plunged deep in the water" Cho answered for you. This time you were very grateful.
"...Oh I'm sorry to hear that." he said worriedly.
You were really starting to feel sick, because you did sleep inside a tent and it's cold outside. You coughed a bit and Harry was staring at you.
"Today is rest day, do you want to spend it with me?" Harry asked.
"Of course" you answered with a smile.
You did look around the great hall and Draco wasn't there. You sighed in relief and you were feeling pretty good that you got to let him go. Because you know your feelings for him won't grow any more. All you needed to worry about is meeting him during vacation or the holidays.
---
After eating, you were going out the great hall with Harry and Draco was about to enter.
Hermione was staring at you and Harry and when she saw Draco near, she kept a close eye --so did Cho.
You didn't notice him yet but as soon as you saw that the three of you will cross paths, you felt a little nervous.
You averted your eyes away from Draco and kept a close grip onto Harry's arm.
The moment the three of you walked past each other, a spark appeared but you three didn't seem to notice --Cho and Hermione did however.
Both girls were surprised and curious as to what was that about. For sure, the two of them won't stop not until they figure out what it was.
Draco on the other hand understood where his place was. He accepted that the both of you can't be together. It pains him so much, but he loves you more... What makes you happy is enough for him, even if it's the cost of his own happiness.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Days past by, the day of the final task had arrived...
"Are you nervous?" you asked Harry as you guys waited for the area to fill up.
"A little, I don't know what's gonna happen." He answered.
"I wish I could go with you..." you said to him.
"Can I get a good luck kiss?" He asked in a sweet way.
You kissed him on his lips without hesitation.
"You're the best" he said with a smile.
He then kissed your cheek and forehead.
"Promise me you'll come back okay?" You said before he went in front as professor Dumbledore gathered the triwizard champions.
Hermione and the others sat next to you along side with your ravenclaw friends.
Music then began playing, some were performing their cheers, dancing and even shouting.
Dumbledore called the attention of everyone and basically explained what the task was. You were a little worried about the maze, you were feeling uneasy about it. You felt like something was up.
"I hope your boyfriends would be okay after this" Hermione said genuinely.
You and Cho waved to your boyfriends as they were introduced one by one.
Soon enough, you could see them entering the maze.
"Come back to me please..." you whispered to yourself.
The path they walked into closed not long after.
"I feel like this is going to take a long time so, do you want to get snacks with us?" Ginny asked you and you nodded.
"You want something Cho?" You asked.
"Either some chocolate frogs or anything that you'll be having" she said.
You, Ginny and Hermione stood up and Ron ought to follow.
"Do you guys know anything about the unbreakable vow?" Hermione asked.
"Not that much, my father doesn't show me much." You answered truthfully.
"Well I had an experience when I was a kid" Ron spoke.
"Yeah it was when you were about 5 years old. " Fred and George popped in and you were startled.
"So it's like making a promise?" Ginny asked.
"Yeah, but you can't break it" Ron answered .
"What happens when you do?" You asked but before anyone could answer, all of you saw a red spark lighting up the sky near the field where the finals task was held.
"That can't be Harry right?" Hermione asked and all of you rushed to go back to your places.
"Cho what happened" you asked as soon as you sat down and handed her some snacks.
"They're looking into it" she answered as everyone was anticipating what it was.
"It was Viktor Krum" Fred said after it was confirmed.
"This is gonna be a long night." You sighed and everybody agreed.
"I'm so nervous..." you said as you rubbed your hands to keep them warm.
"Who do you think will win?" Hermione asked all of you.
"Well no matter who it is, I just hope no one dies" Ginny answered and everybody basically agreed.
-*-*-*-
"Isn't this taking like super long ?" You asked concerned.
"I Agree" Cho replied.
You guys were done eating your snacks for the third time yet nothing seems to be happening.
"You guys wanna go eat some more?" You asked awkwardly.
"Ron?" You said knowing that he would probably say yes. He nodded shyly and when you stood up, a flashing sound came in and some people started cheering.
You turned your gaze in front and saw Harry and Cedric with the triwizard cup.
"They won!" Cho said happily.
"Wait" you said staring at them.
"Something's wrong" you said not breaking your gaze.
You were horrified when you finally understood what happened.
"Cho I--" you said facing Cho and gave her an immediate hug.
You knew Cho understood it too, Cedric just died.
You were visibly shaking, your emotions mixed up. Cho started crying while you were hugging her.
You could hear Mr. Diggory unintentionally screaming "my boy" all across the field.
You hugged Cho tighter and you could feel her pain.
"I'm so sorry Cho" you said to her and she just couldn't form words, she kept crying... not knowing what to do.
You didn't even had the chance to go to Harry as he was dragged away by Professor Moody.
The students were forced to go back in the dormitories. On your way there, all of you got separated. You had to walk alone, you were looking for Cho as she was a crying mess.
You started shaking again, remembering the sight of Cedric's lifeless body.
You were always jumpy when it comes to death. There was always a mysterious fear about it. You didn't know why you felt this way but you were hoping to get answers soon.
"Are you alright?" Pansy asked you but you couldn't clearly see because your vision wasn't good due to lack of oxygen. You weren't breathing well because you were having a panic attack.
Pansy was being nice to you because she knew your family was associated with the Malfoys. Where the power was where her allegiance reside. Her kindness was nothing more than her fear of being a loser in disguise.
"I can go get Draco if you like..." she insisted but you shook your head no.
"I'm okay, thanks Parkinson" you said as you tried to calm yourself and hurry back into your dorms.
---
"Cho?" You said bursting in the dormitories and immediately giving her the comfort that she needed.
