Stupid girl

The guy opened the locker right behind her and took out his watch and then he noticed this seemingly frightened girl who had her eyes so tightly shut that her nose was scrunched up.

"Wow she is so cute and with those bunny ears.... it would be fun to pinch her cheeks but I can't do that. It's creepy." he thought to himself.

"Um I'm sorry if I scared you again. I was just getting my watch. My locker is right beside yours I guess." He said this while taking a step back.

Koreen opened her eyes slowly. She felt dizzy and lost grip of her balance, although she was wearing flat shoes she stumbled forward and fell into a strong pair of arms.

"Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?" this handsome and now also very strong man questioned her with concern.

"I.. I'm fine I just lost my footing. Thank you" she spoke while trying to get out of his arms and standing straight.

"Are you sure? You look pale. Let me grab you some water."

He starts to rummage through his bag and takes out a bottle of water handing it to her.

"Here drink this."

"Oh okay thanks" Koreen takes a few sips and returns the bottle.

"So what is your name bunny?"

"It's Koreen. What is yours?"

"Zufin. Nice to meet you. Are you really sure you are okay?"

"Yes yes I am sure. It's just my first day, so I feel a bit nervous nothing else."

"haha it's okay don't be so nervous you'll be fine. You look great for a bunny, Koreen."

"Ahh I hate this costume I don't know whose idea was this theme. It's so... I don't even know what to say. I can't complain though I am lucky I got this job and I want to make a good impression."

"Oh I see. You think this is stupid huh? I couldn't agree more. But you do look beautiful, I'll give you that"

"Thanks" Koreen nervously chuckles.

"So I better get going I have to be somewhere. It was nice meeting you Koreen and I look forward to working together."

"Me too have a nice day Mr. Zufin"

Zufin smiles politely and leaves in a hurry.

Koreen gathers herself and takes a deep breath before leaving and reporting to her position.

When she gave her interview she was briefed a little bit about what her job was going to be but she was so nervous back then that she didn't ask any questions and now she was confused.

She went to the station that she was allotted to.

There were only 3-4 people around her and none of them worked there. All of them were customers scanning for things they came to buy.

Her post was that of a sales girl but she had to wear that costume and speak lines to attract customers as it was a sales commission based thing.

She was given her script and she went through it the entire night last night. It wasn't much but she found it stupid that she had to say those words which made little to no sense. Her job was to sell this hair growth oil and the reason why her costume was of that of a bunny is because the brand has a rabbit as its logo on top of being made from actual rabbits.

Now she was waiting to see where the manager was or atleast someone who worked there so she could ask a few questions about how to approach customers. She didn't find anyone. She wondered where they were.

While she was thinking this a customer who was in his middle age, wearing thick glasses and dressed like a teenager approached her to ask about an item he couldn't find.

"Hey miss! do you know where K brand flour is. I seem to not find it with other flours" H said this without even stopping and just walked towards her.

He kept on walking and came really close to her, this confused Koreen but she just turned around to say that she was new and didn't know much but wouldn't mind to help him finding it but before she could do that he bumped into her and fell on the ground.

This shocked her she just took a step and he actually bumped into her and fell so hard. Her face had a very surprised look.

"Aiyaaa ahhhhh my back!! MY BACK!!! I think its broken ahhhh! Stupid girl why did you push me I just needed help to find flour. AHHHHH IT HURTS" he screamed while rubbing his back with his hand seemingly in too much pain.

He couldn't have been hurt this bad and I didn't even push him. What is he trying to say? Why would I push him? Wow so this is my first day. Koreen was utterly shocked.

"Sir I'm sorry let me help you stand up. I don't think you would be hurt that much. Let me have a look I'll take you to a doctor. But I didn't push you. You bumped into me."

"Ahhh so now after hurting an old person you want to say that I am lying and I did this on purpose. Look look this new girl is saying I'm a liar after breaking my back like that. You all saw her, right?"

"Yes yes we saw. She actually pushed him. Poor guy he just wanted to get help"

the couple of people who were standing near all said in unison.

"No I did not I am new and I just wanted to inform him that and help him find what he was looking for. Why would I push him?" Koreen almost screamed in her defense but her voice was not very loud.

While the crowd of people started to gather and everyone started to play the blame game Koreen was filled with anger. This man what is it he wanted from her. Why is this happening to her.

Suddenly a familiar voice came from behind the crowd.

"What is happening here? What is the matter? Why are there so many people gathered?"

Koreen recognized the voice it was Manager Hin.
