Chapter 6: Racing Heart

Lily turned her head away slowly with a flushed face. "I hope he's not going to try it.... I'm not ready!" She thought intensely. Lily was lost in her panicked thoughts as Arlo made his way over to her. "Come on let's go to the bed." Arlo gently touched Lily's shoulder and her heart raced in her chest. Lily opened her mouth to protest but no words would come out. She gazed at his upper body and felt flutters in her stomach. He was so thick but smooth at the same time. His big honey eyes sparkled as he took her hand and before she knew it, she was on the soft bed. She was positioned laying down and her curly blonde hair spread across the comforter. Arlo even started to become embarrassed as her watched her chest rise and fall while she breathed. He could see the shape of her breasts through her white night dress. "Damn.." he thought. "She is so perfect." Arlo smiled and softly touched her face. Lily clenched her legs and eyes shut as she saw him reaching for her. Arlo leaned down as his long dark hair fell perfectly on Lily's cheek and he whispered in her ear. "Don't worry, I'm not going to touch you. Not yet anyway" she opened her blue eyes and felt relieved. "It's time for sleep we have a big day tomorrow." Arlo leaned down once again so Lily could take in his manly smell. He kissed her forehead and went to his side of the bed and got comfortable.

He was asleep quickly and Lily laid there in shock. She lightly touched her forehead and grabbed her chest. "Oh my goodness, what is wrong with me!??" "I can not let myself be swept away. But there was something about him." She just couldn't figure it out but she felt this force pulling her towards him and it scared her. "There is something different about him. I wonder if he's nonhuman? Lily leaned down close to examine Arlo. He looked complete human to her. Would she even recognize something different with just his physical body anyway? Even so, she liked to look at it. Lily closed her eyes and slept very lightly. In the morning light she felt Arlo get up but she dared not open her eyes to look at him. She continued to pretend to be asleep until he spoke out loud... "Today is going to be a busy day." Arlo sighed and put on his shoes. He descended the stairs and met Gerald in the dining room where his breakfast was waiting. "Good morning, young master." Gerald said gently. "Gerald would you please bring breakfast up to Lily in bed today, i think she would enjoy to eat while watching others out the window." Gerald nodded and began the preparations as Arlo put on his coat and left the house.
