Cold War

"I guess, You can." Tessa smiled as she hugged Martha back and rubbed her back like Victor did. She rested her chin on Martha's shoulder so did the girl hugging her. Martha cried her heart out since she couldn't take Lorries leaving her. She trusted her and she believed Lorries was not like others but that proved wrong.

The two boys then stepped towards Martha to console her and when they placed their palms on her shoulders she raised her head without any warning and her eyes widened. She turned around and looked at the three surrounding her whose faces seemed gentle. Her mind wandered around that she begun to think what happened before when she was left alone. Closing her eyes she begun to recall every scene happened back as she whispered inside herself.

'When I was left alone back then, I cried a lot in the corner of our class. Everyone surrounded me asking what happened but they were laughing at me that I cried always. They used to celebrate look at me having my lunch alone. Nyna...She seemed like she succeeded in making me all alone. But now??'

Thinking about past Martha buried her face on Tessa's chest as she sniffed hard. Noticing her actions the three left in dubiety that they begun to look at eachother. Victor then smiled and he begun to give his voice.

"Let's go, Little Grape. We'll have some grape ice." His tone seemed joyous as Martha backed off from the girl she was hugging and Tessa loosened her grip too to look at the cry baby but for her surprise Martha's face was totally red and bulged showing how hard she cried. The both guys widened their eyes as they looked at eachother other stunned.

"Come on, Li....Little Grape. Grape ice can cool your hot face." Vincoln popped in between Tessa and Martha just to look how cute her just cried face was.

Martha smiled the moment she heard 'Little Grape' from Vincoln but she couldn't smile wide because her face was aching. She placed her palms on her forehead as she closed her eyes tightly that she was getting a worst hit of headache. Looking at her, Victor frowned his brows as his voice echoed.

"I think your ice cream can get rid off that too." Then he yanked Martha over her nape as he dragged her out and the left two kids followed them.

...

Martha was silent but not Victor. He was trying to make her talk meanwhile the people back were in embarrassing silent motion that drops had been falling from Tessa's head. She seemed too embarrassed to be in a silent conversation that she averted her gaze away thinking about a topic to talk as she echoed her voice

"Vincoln, right??" She finally begun a conversation.

"Ah!! Yeah." Vincoln just answered her without turning to look her.

"So...How long have you been with that girl??" Tessa asked him but her eyes were on the silent girl walking few meters distance to them.

"..." Vincoln left silent as he averted his gaze away from Tessa.

"Hmm?? Did I ask something that shouldn't be asked??" She moved her face closer to Vincoln's trying to look at his face.

"Kind of." His voice was cold as if he was staying firmly not to talk about 'how long he had been with Martha'. His stern tone made Tessa to shut her mouth that she turned her gaze away too. It became awkward silence again which made Tessa embarrassed but for her surprise Vincoln wasn't even feeling anything.

"Uhm....I felt like she was in deep pain just then. Do you know the reason??" Tessa spoke again, waiting for the guy to respond.

"You're a new comer??" Vincoln asked facing her for the first time from the beginning of their conversation.

"Ah...How to say this!!! I just shifted my section." Tessa uttered as she scratched skin behind her ear.

"And you don't know anything??" He wasn't turning his gaze from her as if he was pointing her for not being with Martha from the start.

"Well,... I didn't get to talk with her section's students. So....Yeah I don't know." Tessa said as she averted her gaze away from Vincoln.

"I don't think you can understand, even if you knew her situation." Vincoln's tone seemed irate that gave chills in Tessa. His brows were squinted showing his anger for some reason which made Tessa flinch but for her kind she isn't the type who can shiver in fear that easily.

"I don't know the reason, but why are you cold??" Tessa yelled and pouted at Vincoln. Her voice was audible enough for the two people walking above. Knowing her voice Vincoln turned his head above and as expected they were looking back.

"What happened, Tessa??" Victor was the one to ask as he raised his brows.

Martha wasn't uttering a word which didn't escape from Vincoln's sight. She was just looking at them both. Her eyes and cheeks were bulged and red like a tomato. Noticing this Vincoln forced a smile on his face as he begun to give his voice.

"It's nothing. We were just introducing ourselves and I didn't pay much attention to her. Seems like she's annoyed with my attitude." His voice seemed forcefully joyous as he dropped his hand over her shoulder. His actions made Tessa shock that she seemed to stun at that moment. She tilted her face to look at the guy and begun to swear him in herself.

'Moron!!! You were cold just now and you're being affable now?? That's gross!!' She then smiled a devilish smile and placed her arm on Robin's left side hip from the back as she left a 'Fake Chuckle'.

"Haha, I really felt he was cold. But looks like he is too friendly that me myself can't take it. Look how adorable he looks now!!" She exclaimed as she squeezed Vincoln's cheeks.

Victor didn't get what these two were doing. He tilted his head in queries but he spoke to them.

"We're here. You guys want something??" He pointed his thumb towards them both asking what they wanted.

"Buy for her first." Vincoln replied as he moved towards the silent Martha and placed his palm on her hair.

"What about you??" Victor turned his gaze towards Tessa waiting for her reply but she glanced at Vincoln just to get chills from his gazes.

"Ahaha...I don't need anything. 'Buy for her first'."

Tessa waved her hands rejecting Victor as she mumbled inside.

'Ahh, Why must I have a cold war with Him??'
