"Martha!! Dinner is ready." It was Scarlett who called Martha for the dinner. Martha then placed the telephone on the box as a sigh left from her. She then closed her eyes firmly, pressing her lips tight as if she was trying to get control of her.
"She really doesn't want me at all." She mumbled as she left the door. She didn't reach the dining table but left for the terrace. When she left the room she saw her mother, father and Scarlett dining themselves. She just payed a glance and then left.
"Martha!! Where are you going?? Have dinner fir-"
"Let her mom. I think something's wrong with her classmates. I'll take dinner for her after we finish it." Scarlett said as she smiled but turned her gaze towards the door which was left open by Martha left just then. Her face turned black that she could guess what happened.
'I guess, Now it's Lorries.' When certain sound made her look back to the door Martha left.
...
On the terrace Martha was leaning on the steps which were in the center of the terrace as she glared at the sky, pressing her lips tight. She was taking a long breathes trying to control her cry then she heard foot steps approaching her. She turned around just to see Vincoln with a cup of food and a bottle of water in his hands.
"You..... Hmm... Come." She turned back and moved aside patting the place beside her asking him to sit beside and Vincoln stepped ahead. His eyes never left her as he looked her clenched fists, pressed lips and face upwards and he could say that she still could cry at the moment he interrupts her control plans. He crouched beside her and begun to talk.
"had dinner??" He asked her trying to hide the cup which Martha did see before.
"I did. "
/Growl... /
"Though you want to lie, your stomach disobeyed you. Come on, eat." He uttered as he stretched his hands which were holding the cup.
"I.... Don't feel like...eating." Martha loosened her lips and without her knowing tears begun to fall for her eyes. And yeah, this didn't escape from Vincoln's vision.
"You're still thinking about that 'Lorries' thing??" He asked and with in no time Martha cried out like a small baby.
"Uwah....I didn't expect Lorries to believe her over me!!!! Ehehe!!!!! I don't want to cry, but I can't control myself!!! Do something Vinny!!!" She shouted as she cried out loud.
Looking at her Vincoln's brows frowned that he couldn't do anything but hug her as he rested her face upon his chest. He gathered his hands on her back and hugged her tight.
"You have me, Martha!!" He rested his chin on her head as he tried to soothe her pain.
"But I don't have Lorries with me anymore!! Uwahh!!..I didn't expect he-" Vincoln didn't give her time to talk as he pulled away from her embrace and slammed his palm on her lips.
"Listen, Try not to think about them who left you. Instead, try thinking about the ones who always think about being with you." His eyes were gentle and his tone was a bit emotional. His words made sense that Martha's eyes widened as someone came in her mind.
Vincoln's words made her hault that her tears stopped and the first one who came into her mind was her 'dumbass'. She pulled out of his embrace. Her face looked troubled that without her knowledge she took the cup of food and begun to eat it when something suddenly popped inside her mind.
"Vinny, When will you learn piano??" She asked sniffing hard.
"huh!?" Vincoln wanted to make sure what he heard.
"You heard it. When will you learn piano??" Her face was looking like a puppy waiting for it's owner to play with him. But Vincoln seemed nervous that he mumbled inside.
'Learn?? Does she know?? This can't be!!!!' his face turned into a long face that he couldn't think of anything to utter.
"You said you lost your habit, didn't you?? Whe wull yu Lear ith??" She asked stuffing her mouth with the food that made Vincoln's shoulders dropped.
"Ohh!! You were talking about that?? I thought something else." He left a sigh getting his composure.
"What else could it be?? Is there anything else??" Martha asked as she tilted her head in doubt.
"Haha... It's nothing!! Finish your dinner first." He forced a laugh on his face.
"Aunt Bethany did these??" She asked as she looked at the bowl and the food in it.
"Did you like it??" Vincoln asked as he moved close his face to Martha's.
"Yes!!! I love it. Did she make it??" She asked again and when Vincoln was about to utter they heard footsteps reaching them again. He turned his head to look who it was and Martha peeked through him to look at the one reached there.
"Scarlett!!!"
"Robert."
Martha and Robin uttered as they looked at their siblings who were panting. Victor was leaning his hands on his knees that he was panting hard and Scarlett was beside him hiding something back.
"Why are you guys panting?? Did you rush into something??" Vincoln asked as he moved towards them. He reached Victor and gave him the bottle of water but Scarlett wasn't looking at them. Instead, she walked straight towards Martha and extended her right hand that made Martha's eyes widened.
"Why is it with you?? Are you reading it behind my back??" She grabbed the diary in Scarlett's hand and narrowed her eyes at Scarlett.
"Don't be an idiot. I thought you wanted to write it here. So I brought it with me. I have manners that I shouldn't read others journal." Scarlett's voice was calm as she stated firmly.
"Ohh, So I can write it here?? Yeah, I really wanted to right here!!! You know me sissy!!" Martha smiled adorably as she looked at the area around.
"Yeah!!! It's a pleasant time. Then, It's journal time. But.....You guys aren't allowed to peek!!!" Martha turned around and pointed them three as she ordered not to look into her diary.
