Billboards

A week later, Kit was sitting in her office with Shoto again. Normally she didn't work the weekends, but when the half-and-half teen asked if she had time, she couldn't deny him.

He spoke about a little of everything at first, seeming not to make much sense, then he sighed, "The second half of the Japanese Hero Billboard Charts are coming up." He met her eyes for a moment, "My father is now considered Number One, though only because of All Might's retirement." He looked down at the cup of tea that sat in front of him, "He confronted me at my last provisional training and to put it simply, he told me he was proud of me and so he was going to try and do better."

Kit watched him closely, "What did you tell him, if I may ask?"

"I told him to do what he wants..." His eyes narrowed, "He did seem different, but I don't know how much of it I can believe. I don't know if he is worthy of the number one spot OR my pride."

They both turned quiet and Kit cocked her head, "I think you are an action person." He looked at her with a confused gaze, "You seem to connect with those around you who prove things to you by what they do; their actions. Maybe you should watch your father and see if he proves himself to you by his actions."

His eyes widened at her words, dropping once again to his tea, "Actions, hm?" He hummed, "I will think about this, Ms. Kit."

"Of course." She watched as he gathered his things, "Let me know if you need anything."

"Yes." He went to leave the office, but when he opened the door, Aizawa was on the other side looking ready to knock, "Mr. Aizawa."

Aizawa slowly lowered his arm, "Todoroki, is everything okay?"

"Yes, it will be." He gave one final look back at Kit, then bowed to Aizawa, "I'm going back to the dorms."

Aizawa waited for him to leave, then turned to Kit, "I need your help."

Kit stood quickly, concerned, "With what? Is everything okay?"

"Actually, I have good news." He motioned for her to come with him, "Eri will be staying with us in the staff dorm."

"That's great!" Kit nearly yelled.

"Yes." They left the school and he stopped to turn to her, "I'm going to go pick her up tomorrow, but I have paperwork I need to go fill out today. I need you to go get her things for her room. Could you do that?"

"Oh, yes!" Kit gave him a glad smile, "I'll get going now. Maybe I'll pick her up some more clothes too."

Kit quickly parted from him and took several hours to shop for the young girl. To be honest, she wasn't too sure what the girl would like, but she got a little of everything she could think. Aizawa had attempted to give her money, but since she made money not only from the school, but from HPSC, she declined. He wasn't too happy about that, but he couldn't argue since he needed to go finish the paperwork.

Once she got back to the school, she had to create duplicates of herself so she could carry all the bags and boxes to the staff dorms. Maybe she got too much, but she could always return what wasn't needed. Eri couldn't go without and she deserved a little spoiling.

She set the room up the best she could and left some things alone so Eri could decide what she wanted to do. She wanted Eri to feel like she had some control over her life now though she was still so young.

She was finishing up when she heard a low whistle from the doorway, "It looks like you spent a fortune, Little Missy."

Kit whirled around with a huge grin plastered to her face, "Yeah, but I think it looks pretty good!"

"I didn't say it didn't." Mic chuckled, "Aizawa is back and asked me to come get you while he gets a shower. I guess he wants to get dinner?"

"Oh, okay!" Kit quickly began to straighten up and collect her things.

By the time she finished cleaning up and locking the door, Aizawa was walking out of his room as well, "Dinner?"

"Sounds perfect." Her tails snapped behind her happily, "I'm excited about tomorrow."

"I am quite happy that Nezu agreed to let her stay here." He rubbed the back of his neck, "Though I figure my future sleep is going to suffer."

"It's suffering now as it is making those long trips out to the hospital and then every other day, you're still patrolling..." Kit poked his side causing him to throw her a look, "At least this way she is on campus."

"I guess." They reached her car after a few minutes, "I'm thinking some... sukiyaki?"

Kit nearly bounced on her feet, "Oooh, I haven't had that in a while! Let's go!"

Both Kit and Aizawa woke early the next morning, though he really didn't want to, but today was going to be busy. Aizawa received a call that classes 1-A and 1-B were going to receive visitors, so he had to pick up Eri and return before they did. So, after a quick shower and a peck for a kiss, he was off.

Kit decided to do some last minute touches to Eri's room. She didn't realize it, but she took a couple of hours doing this before she noticed the time. Rushing from the room and staff dorm, she went into search for her lover, figuring that he took Eri to see Midoriya and his classmates.

She had almost made it to the dorms when she noticed two figures between the 1-A and 1-B dorms. Looking closer, she noticed one was Aizawa and the other was a cute blond female wearing a pink top and a long white skirt. They were talking, looking rather serious, and she was concerned that maybe something had happened.

She was about to walk over that way when suddenly the female reached up and pulled Aizawa down into a kiss. Kit waited for Aizawa to push her away, but when he closed his eyes and reached up to grasp her upper arms, she couldn't watch anymore. Shaking her head, she turned and ran blindly as her vision became blurred.

She was nearly to the front gate when a voice called out to her, "Kit?"

She paused, casting All Might a sideways glance and noticed he was next to Mic, "Tell Nezu I'll contact him."

"Wait!" All Might took several quick steps her way with a shocked looking Mic behind him, "What's---"

Kit shook her head, then looked at Mic before she began running again.

She ran past the gate before they could say anything more and made her way down the mountain. She kept going until she reached a familiar house and knocked almost frantically. It took several minutes, but the door opened to show a drowsy Mera who almost seemed to struggle keeping his eyes open.

"Kit? What are you...?" He began to question, looking around.

Kit shook her head, her eyes watering up.

"What's going on?" Orca came up behind Mera, then when he saw Kit, he grew concerned, "Is there something going on at the school?"

She shook her head, the tears in her eyes making it hard to see, "I need a break..."

Both men looked at her shocked and Orca made his way past Mera, "What happened?"

Kit bit her lip, looking away, "Nothing... that... Nothing, I just need a small break. A week or two." She clenched her fangs, "I need to get my emotions straightened out or else my work will suffer."

Orca and Mera shared a look and the tired man stepped to the side, "Come in."

Kit entered the house and plopped down on the couch in the sitting room, "I'm sorry, I just didn't know where else to go."

"Well, it's better the agency knows where you are rather than you disappearing." Orca murmured.

Mera laid his head back against the couch, "I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I can get you some time off… You have earned it anyhow." His eyes were closing slowly, "I can send a message to Nezu that you were needed elsewhere for a few days." He looked back down towards her, "Where will you stay?"

"Erm..." Kit tapped a claw on the table in front of her, "I'm not sure."

"She can come with me as my extra to the Billboards, then stick with me until her vacation is up or until she is ready to go back." Orca offered with a sigh, "But because I normally show up by myself, you need to be prepared for… unsavory questions from the media."

"That is up to Kit." Mera shrugged, "Just keep your phone on you and I'll let you know a time limit." He stood and began to exit the room, "I'm going to bed… I've been up all night working."

"Goodnight! Thank you!" Kit bowed to his back and she turned the bow to Orca, "Thank you as well."

Orca eyed her for a moment as she sat back up, "I've always been fond of you, Kit, so it... concerns me that something put you in this state."

Kit was quiet for a while, "I messed up, but I don't know what to do about it." Kit bit her lip, tears coming back to her eyes, "I fell in love… as corny as it sounds..."

"Kit..." Orca's voice was soft.

"I know, I know. But I didn't plan on it and it's not like they don't say we can't have relationships... I just..." She sighed, "Maybe she is more stable than I am... or maybe they have history..."

"That is a lot of maybes." Orca commented, confusion lacing his voice, "What happened exactly?" Kit quickly explained what happened, "Hmm, it does sound odd, but... maybe you should've waited."

"I couldn't watch him... do that." Kit shook her head hard, "It was hard enough waiting to see if he would push her away or not."

"And you don't know who it is?" When Kit shook her head, he sighed, "I can look into it for you."

"No." Kit shook her head, "There is more... but I can't talk about it."

"It is always interesting to hear secrets that not even the HPSC know." He couldn't help but say, "But, I'll wait until you're ready."

Kit and Orca spent the rest of the night together talking, ordering in and Kit mentally prepared herself to go to the Billboards.

Cameras nearly blinded her as they walked towards the large stadium that was holding the Japanese Hero Billboard Charts. The hero entrance was in the back, surrounded by reporters, cameras, and even big time fans of some of the top heroes. Orca would stop in front of every other reporter, trying to give small comments here and there, and so far no one has questioned her presence at his side. The only thing they've asked them to do was get close for a picture, which he would simply wrap an arm around her shoulders.

Orca held his arm out so she could loop her arm through his as they moved down the line when a reporter extended an arm out in front of the number twelve hero, "How did you two meet?"

"Did you choose her since she had an animal quirk like you do?" Another asked.

Orca went to answer, but another pushed forward, "I can only imagine the type of quirks your children would have – I mean an orca fox mix? Do you have any hopes?"

"We are not together in such a way." Orca's voice boomed over the questions, "We are long time friends and I asked her to join me tonight."

This caused the reporters to partially lower their microphones since it wasn't the juicy gossip they wanted, but one gave a wide smile, "That is so kind of you to invite her with you, Gang Orca, but there is nothing saying that long time friendship couldn't evolve into something more!"

Both Kit and Orca exchanged a look, but both ended up giving a chuckle while Orca shook his head, "I think of her more like a younger sibling."

Before more possible questions could be spouted, Orca pulled her further down the line and through the door. Once inside, they spoke with a couple of other heroes that he was friends with before going to a coordinator to have them show them to their seat.

It was under an hour later that Kit sat wide eyed as she listened to Hawks give an arrogant speech, calling out the heroes. While she felt nervous about the reactions of the others, she couldn't help but be proud of him. She became even more worried though when Endeavor shot him a deadly glare.

When the event ended, Kit turned to Orca, "I need to go speak with Hawks."

"I need to make my way to my agency as soon as possible, but you know where it is." Orca looked down at her, "Just be careful."

Kit gave him a single nod and watched him make his way through the crowd before she made her way backstage after showing she was a HPSC agent to several guards. She entered Hawks' waiting room and it was nearly an hour before he came in.

"Kit?" His eyes widened and looked around, "What are you---?"

Kit had been sitting on the couch in the room and she looked over at him, "Keigo…"

Kit leaped out of the seat she was in and threw herself at him. He barely was able to open his arms in time to catch her, but pulled her close when he heard her sob, his wings folding around her as well. She clung so hard to him, she worried that she'd not be able to let him go, but she really didn't want to anyway.

"Myobu, baby, talk to me… What's going on?" He rubbed a hand up and down her back, "Did something bad happen? You're worrying me."

"I love you…" She whispered against his chest, "Please don't leave me."

"I would be stuck to your side like a loyal pigeon if I could, baby…" He leaned his head back to look down at her face before giving her a slow kiss, "Tell me what has you feeling like this…"

It took her a while, but she quietly told him what happened between sobs. She hated being like this in front of him since he always seemed so sure of himself, but she couldn't help it.

"Where will you be?" He asked after taking everything in.

"I'm going to stay at Orca's agency for a little while." She lifted up her phone, "Mera hasn't given me my limit yet, so..."

Hawks looked around for a moment, "You're lucky you caught me today..." When she looked up at him confused, he grunted, "Starting tomorrow, my mission changes and I'm going to be watched by some people that... if they found out about you, you would become in danger. The billboards are the only reason I'm not being... watched as much right now."

Kit's eyes widened, "You're going to be okay, right?"

"What? Me?" He gave a haughty laugh, "Of course, Furball, when am I not?" His laugh ended when he noticed her serious look, "Hey, everything is going to be okay, you know..." He kissed her softly, "How long do you have?"

"Orca didn't give me a time limit, so I guess I have as long as I need." She answered.

"Perfect." He picked her up and set her on the couch before going to lock the door, removing his clothing afterwards, "Let's make this count then, hm? I don't have much time."

Hawks pressed a knee between her legs on the couch and leaned down to give her a soft kiss. Kit wasn't having it and deepened the kiss immediately, nipping at his lower lip. He gasped, but seemed to understand what she wanted, and gave her an almost bruising kiss.

"Take me hard..." Kit whispered in his ear after he let go of her lips to kiss down her neck.

Her clothing was thrown across the room and Hawks shook his head, eyeing the time for a second, "I don't have time for foreplay..." He used a finger to swipe across her lower lips, "Though, you're already so wet..."

Kit grabbed his cock so quickly that he almost flinched, but followed her hand as she guided him to her entrance. He began to slowly slide in, but Kit was starting to get frustrated, so she wrapped her arms around him to slide her palms against his wings.

This caused him to jerk roughly, "Fuck, Vixen!"

"Don't be too loud or they might hear us, Keiiigo..." Kit teased.

"I don't give a flying fuck if they do." He growled into her ear, "Let them hear how well I fuck you!"

She couldn't say anything back because as soon as he said that, he began to pound into her. He was going even harder than normal and she noticed that he was flexing his wings slightly as if they helped with his thrusts.

Kit decided that if they didn't have long, she was going to make the best of it. So, she started playing with his wings again, enjoying the sounds he would make. He even accidently bit her on the shoulder hard enough to break the skin slightly.

"Fuck! Fuck!" He groaned then a feather flew off his wing to go between her legs to flick her clit rapidly, "I need you to cum!"

Kit huffed and panted, her toes curling at his need, "Fill me up! Please!"

Hawks' eyes widened and before he could stop it, his sack drew up and he felt the first gush of cum leave him, "Oooh!"

Kit could feel his cock pulse inside of her and the warmth spread, causing her to finally cum herself. Her back arched into him and she bit her bottom lip so hard it bled.

Hawks fell on top of her, but attempted to not crush her, "God, Myobu..."

"That was amazing." Kit licked her lip of the blood, "And so worth it. I love you…"

"I love you too." Hawks took a moment, but pushed himself up to his feet, "I hope that will be enough for you until I'm done with this mission."

"As long as you come back to me, it will be." Kit watched as he began to dress, deciding to do the same.

After a few moments of dressing, Hawks pulled her into his arms, his lips close to her ear, "Remember, not everything is as it seems." She pulled back to give him a confused look, but he turned away, "I need to get going or else Endeavor will have my wings charred."

Kit nodded and as they made their way out to the front of the building, they met Endeavor part way. Hawks greeted him in his cocky way and it seemed as if Hawks was trying to impress the Flame Hero.

Endeavor glared at the winged man, but when he looked behind Hawks, he looked surprised, "Kit?"

"Ah, hello, Endeavor." Kit bowed to him, "Congratulations on officially becoming Number One."

"Thank you." He stared at her for a few moments, looking at Hawks for a second, then back, "Are you joining us?"

"Oh, no." Hawks answered for her, "We are childhood friends and I asked for her to come and support me today."

Again, Endeavor's eyes were narrowed, "I see." He bowed his head to Kit, "It was good to see you again, Kit. Please look after Shouto."

"Of course I will." Kit bowed back, then eyed Hawks, "Stay out of trouble and don't torture Endeavor too much... I personally enjoy burning your wings and wouldn't blame him if he did too."

Hawks' wings dropped a little bit, "I don't like burnt chicken wings."

Kit smiled, feeling better a bit, "Good luck, you two."

She watched them go and decided it was time to make her way to Orca's agency before he became worried.
