Three days into their mission and she was becoming increasingly frustrated. Outside of eating during odd times, nothing was settling in her stomach well, making her search seem ten-times harder and longer. To make matters even worse, her breasts were also becoming extra sensitive against the fabric of her uniform, drawing her attention to them if she shifted wrong.
Surprisingly enough, Kit wasn't the most frustrated out of the bunch, but Gran Torino. He seemed to get grumpier and grumpier each day, acting as if he had something else he needed to be doing instead. This caused her attitude towards him to sour even more, but she tried to keep to herself once Edgeshot pointed out that it could possibly be her hormones from being pregnant.
Looking at the time on a T.V. in a shop she was passing, she noted it was 19:30, and decided to switch directions to finish up her search for the day. Oddly enough, the city seemed to be rather empty, so she didn't get to hear anymore about a possible meeting or anything.
Leaving what could be considered a shopping district, she came to a long road where there was a lone mansion styled home on one side. Just as she made to go by the building that looked to be owned by a wealthy person, she noticed an alarmingly large number of people gathering at the door making their way inside.
Normally she would think it was some kind of ritzy-ditzy party or get-together, but she could see people that were obviously of different social standing. Now, she knew she shouldn't profile people, but something was off.
After a quick thought, deciding it was better to be safe than sorry, she made her way through the gate and towards the building. Entering with a wave of people, thankfully none running into her invisible form, she was shocked to see even more people inside. Keeping far away from other people, especially ones with animal-like quirks that could smell her or sense her, she looked around to see where they were all going.
"If you don't want to wait for the elevator, there are stairs over there..." Kit heard a tall male next to elevator doors, and looked to where he pointed, "The meeting is on B4 and it starts in fifteen minutes!"
This was it! She looked around, almost frantically, to find a spot that looked private enough she could contact the others. Unfortunately, the room was almost completely packed and everywhere she went, someone would get too close for her to feel comfortable enough to call in; it was hard enough keeping people from stepping on her tails.
Thinking quickly, she made her way over to the stairs, bounding down them to the floor marked 'B4' as she had heard the man inform everyone the meeting was. There was no door, but rather a large entrance way that opened up to a huge cavernous room. Walking further inside, she nearly choked on her own saliva at how many people were gathered already down there with more people still filing inside.
She slipped her way towards the back of the room where she finally found a spot that was far enough from everyone that she could connect to her team, "Hey, guys, I think I found that meeting that Orca over heard and told us about." She kept her ears and eyes darting around to watch and listen for anyone to get close as she gave a rough address since she didn't know the exact spot, "I don't know how to describe this but… there are thousands of people here of different looking backgrounds. Some even look like heroes I've seen before…"
"Shit." Edgeshot's muttering voice was the first to respond, "When is the meeting starting? Do we have enough time for me to get there?"
She shook her head despite them not being able to see it, "When I was upstairs, they said it was supposed to start in fifteen minutes and that was several minutes ago, so..." Her eyes zoned in on a figure coming up onto a stage using some type of advanced looking wheelchair, a spot light following him, "There is someone going up on stage now." She watched as he tapped the microphone as if to test if it was working, gaining the crowd's attention, "I'll open the line so you all can hear as well, though with how many people there are, I don't know how well you'll be able to."
(Quotes from the Manga Chap. 240 pg 7-10)
"My Comrades of the Liberation Army! It is I, Re-Destro!" The man paused for effect, "Today, The Liberation Army will be Reborn!"
Again, he paused for effect and she heard Orca in her ear this time, "A Liberation Army?"
"When it came to enlightening the world with the ideals of Destro, I had believed the League's existence was naught but an obstacle! Until that day, I had regarded this as the absolute truth!" Again, the pointed nosed man paused to let this wash over the crowd, "Oh, how blind I must have been! I was swept away by my blood; bound by the teachings but on that day, I witnessed true Liberation!"
A murmur went over the crowd and this time she heard Torino's grumbling voice, "On that day? Is he talking about the day of the attack?"
"I think so..." Kit murmured.
"Hear me! This is not surrender!" He yelled.
Kit watched as he motioned to a being sitting on a plush chair next to him, the spot light widening to include it, and her eyes bugged, "Oh, shit. I didn't notice until now, but that's Shigaraki. He IS here."
"The man you see before you, Shigaraki Tomura, is one who is truly liberated! He is the one who is worthy of the utmost reverence! He is the one who is worthy of the throne!" Kit couldn't believe this insane man's babble, but listened anyway, "Starting now, the Liberation Army... Shall carry out the resurrection with Shigaraki Tomura as its Supreme Leader! Together we shall walk the true path of liberation!"
"So this liberation army and the league will join up?" Edgeshot questioned, "I don't think I understand what is so special about this boy."
"The Liberation Army and the League of Villains... Shall henceforth be united under a new name!" The man's eyes became wide, almost physically showing how crazy he was, "This name was devised by myself, Re-Destro, and Spinner, of the League!" Kit's eyes narrowed when he didn't say the name until he continued, "And now, to do the honors... Shigaraki Tomura!"
It was quite for a moment before Shigaraki adjusted himself in his seat, "Abandoning the title of 'villains' in order to broaden the world's understanding of 'special abilities', we shall henceforth be known as..." He was suddenly he was joined on stage with the rest of the League and several other people she didn't recognize, "The Paranormal Liberation Front" He seemed to take a cue from Re-Destro to let the moment build, "Furthermore, I now designate the nine members on stage with me as commanding officers, who shall coordinate out forces at their discretion." He paused and seemed to talk to himself more than anything, "Well... this new name is just like this script; irrelevant... Go Wild..."

And wild the crowd went and Kit was forced to cover her ears, "Good god... This is bad. With as many people here… this IS an army." She then watched as the ones on stage left, "It looks like it is already over." She eyed the crowd, but suddenly felt a mental pull, "Wait… Something is... here..."
"Kit?" Orca called her name in the ear piece.
"Uh, nothing." She turned off the transmission and went to exit, but something tugged at her heart towards the crowd again.
She was going to ignore it, but then she spotted bright red wings that she'd know anywhere. Her heart lurched in her chest at the thought of seeing him, but she knew it was dangerous for him. He cleared the crowd and even went to walk right past her, but paused and though he was looking through her, it was almost as if he was looking directly at her. She took her earpiece out when the others began to call her name when she didn't respond.
Biting her lip, she slowly reached out and gripped his hand, causing his eyes to widen a fraction, then dart around, "I thought I felt the pull of the bond... What are you doing here?"
The question was so soft, she almost didn't catch it among the chattering noise of everyone else in the room, "They sent me and a group here to find out some information."
"Well, you can let them know I'll be contacting them soon." His fingers laced with hers.
She squeezed his hand, "I have something important to tell you."
He looked around again, looking as if he was just watching the people around him, "Your timing when meeting with me is always a little off." He chuckled under his breath, "What is it?"
Kit took his hand to lay it on her stomach, "I'm pregnant, Hawks..."
His entire being froze, but his fingers gently flexed against her stomach, "Pregnant?"
"With twins." She murmured softly, her ears flickering to make sure no one could hear them.
"...Do you have an idea who's?" He asked after a moment, his face looking down towards his feet.
"No, I'm sorry." She loosened her hold on his hand so he didn't look so awkward, but his hand didn't move, "I'm only a little over two months along."
He let out a breath and she could physically see his chest deflate, "God, I hope this is over by then." He paused, seeming to look for something to say, "How is Aizawa?"
"Pissed at me for being here." She winced, "He is still recovering from my kidnapping by the League." She sighed softly, "Yamada wants to have a ... more permanent position in our relationship."
"I thought he already was..." He adjusted his visor, almost as if he was nervous.
Kit eyed him, then noticed that his wings were vibrating just the slightest, "What are you doing?"
"They have surveillance devices on me, but I can disrupt them with the vibrations from my wings, but I can only do it for a short time." He shook his head, "I have to go..." He took a hold of her hand to give another soft squeeze, "... but know that I love you and I'm always thinking about you. I'll come to you as soon as I can – as soon as these devices on me are off."
"I love you too. Please stay safe…" She quickly leaned up to kiss him on the cheek, then let him go so he could move on.
She quickly made her way outside before putting her ear piece back in, "Sorry, I had to get out quickly before I was shut in."
"Come back to the meeting point; mission is complete." Orca's voice sounded authoritative.
It took her about fifteen minutes of running to get to the car. This time she was the first one there, so she let herself reappear and took the ear bud out.
"That was an extremely good find, Kit." Edgeshot and Orca were walking side-by-side towards her then, and Edgeshot bowed his head to her, "I already sent the recording off to base for them to review it."
Gran Torino showed up several minutes after that and he looked over at Kit, "I guess you're not too bad."
Kit couldn't help but beam at the old man, "Eh, you're okay."
Orca could only shake his head, then looked at the time on his watch, "We may as well go back to the hotel until the morning; the first train doesn't start running until after 5 o'clock." He eyed Kit, "You could be back to Aizawa by early tomorrow morning."
Kit rocked on her feet, "Then let's get going!"
The ride to the hotel seemed quicker than normal, but Kit wouldn't complain. They had ordered food again and this time they all spoke lively to each other, happy with their success. After eating their food, Kit kept looking at her phone trying to decide if she should call Aizawa or not to let him know she was coming home.
"I know what you're thinking." Gran Torino murmured, "I was always taught that a mission isn't over until you are home." His eyes had been closed, but they opened to gaze at her, "Things always happen, even after a mission finishes; I would wait until you're at least in Tokyo before you let anyone know."
Kit blinked at him, then set down her phone, "Thank you."
He hummed as he took a bite out of his taiyaki, "Just some advice from an old man to a young person."
