Standing firm yet again behind a door, Delion questions. "Selia, does this name ring a bell to you sir..."
"Stephan." Ambers unravels, shedding light of the name belonging to this man of the house.
"Uh... Selia... no. Well at least not in this town." Stephan answers, waving his hand to invite the detectives in. "Please come in."
...
They've been going door to door today on almost every house, trying to decipher more of the truth and unwind what can be a massive point taking place in the close history of this village.
Most didn't say anything useful and one man acted up, becoming a suspect faster than the eye can blink.
That aside, this couple of detectives don't prefer begging these villagers for information, but Selia wants to kill 2 strongly evil people. Individuals dark to the point of deserving a fate like Jingo.
That aside, Selia wants to kill anyone who helped out those 2 prime evil people, so we can be looking at a nother low pace murder spree.
Popping a row of black tea for these fine people, Joseph deciphers. "Selia, my father mentioned that name a lot through a year. He said everything will be okay but no, his face didn't say that."
Making the severity purely noticeable so this man doesn't deprive these people from information that would quench the thirst of curiosity, Ambers weighs in. "Can you be more specific about what happened? We are trying to stop another upcoming murder spree, Selia is pissed."
"Oh, I'll do everything I can to remember." Joseph expresses, taking a sip of black tea and allowing silence to stretch for the sake of putting sub-core memory into use.
Quite entitled with taking his time, not stressing over the fact that he has let these detectives wait in silence for 5 minutes now, Joseph recites. "My dad was killed back in 1,215 and I think Selia did it."
"And what makes you think that?" Delion questions, putting his brain into motion that it would make one think 3 detectives are in the room.
Trying not to forget the main point, Joseph quickly adds. "Because that was his last year with us and he was paranoid, kept mentioning this Selia lady."
And before anyone else can utter, he butchers. "Then we moved here in Blenar, my mom and brother just died days after here. I thought it was just natural... but no something weird is going on here."
And if Joseph says this, it has to be sprinkled with truth as he is a 74 year old man and hasn't yet let go of such a memory, even attaching. "I lived alone ever since, the deafening silence in this house is worse than their deaths."
And to that, Ambers can't sit still anymore and walks forward, giving the old man a hug, repeating. "It's going to be okay."
Faily demotivated, the old man mouths. "I've been saying that for 50 years but I appreciate the thought."
Trying to solve the puzzle since this isn't doesn't free range from what he hasn't heard before, Delion asks the big question. "Can you tell us why Selia killed your family and why didn't she kill you? I may come off as harsh but she had 50 years to do it."
Understanding Delion as a person, Joseph adds. "I don't know, it just all happened too fast and my dad didn't tell me anything useful."
Stroking his long white beard blessed with a silver lining, Joseph uses the split second to patch a hole in this investigation. "But Selia is from Rashim city, yes I've heard that it has become a city now. You can find her family there, maybe they can help you?"
Going to a city 300 kilometers away needs a lot of time and work alone but apart from that, there is one more issue and Delion makes it clear. "It's not easy to find this family, Selia died over 50 years ago. Can you be more specific, a last name maybe?"
Taking another minute to think it through, Joseph adds. "Corbelli. Their family name should be Corbelli."
...
Soon as they've left Joseph's house, a middle aged man blesses the two detectives with his presence, deciphering. "My mother wants to talk about you about Selia."
It's easy to spot that the word about this has spread wild, most of the masses are concerned and one is apparently taking measures on to her own hands, wanting to talk about such a topic that people know barely anything about.
Walking inside her house, the old lady makes her presence clear by raising her hands up for a greet.
At first glance, they can spot that something ain't right. She looks sick, laying on a bed even and perhaps waiting for death to cascade this house and claim another soul.
And the first thing this lady says is, "Why are you looking for my friend?"
"Because she is on a killing spree?" Delion adds, just a tad sassy but had to point out the obvious.
The best to reason, Ambers sits near the lady, strokes her poorly brushed white hair and explains. "Look Nicholina, we just want to figure this out and don't want for more people to die."
The firmest towards justice, Delion decides to add a bit of reasoning as well. "No matter how bad her enemies are, they still deserve to live. Imprisonment is the most humane option."
For a sick lady, she sure is agile with expressions. "There is nothing humane about the people who killed her."
Well this adds a good piece to the puzzle, Selia was killed. That can explain the bursting rage in that crazy lady but still leaves the two detectives into ascending confusion. How and why did everything happen?
With this investigation finally close to reaching a breakthrough, Delion walks closer and immediately asks. "Who killed her? Are the murderers in this town?"
"Well I hear that Jingo got what was coming to him but there still are two murderers here... while others had hand in this as well." But that's when the tables flipped for the worst, as Nicholina started coughing.
And the cough continues to grow with no signs of stopping, breathing becoming shorter and motion on this lady's body stronger than ever.
"Move!" Nicholina's son swooped in to check what's happening, pulling the entire Ambers away.
Trying to tame the situation, he lifts Nicholina to help the old lady sit. But no, that didn't stop the coughs as they just grow stronger.
After a few seconds of stress, struggle and attempting to force the situation for the better, her son faces the detectives and states. "She passed away."
