Galius (2)

When a lady asked a man to be accompanied upstairs, in the most common cases, the idea would be to strip naked and get at it.

But here, Delion was requested to follow a crazy and old lady who might just kill him there. The odds of her wanting to seduce this man into clothelesness are second to none..

At least Delion hoped so, he didn't want to upset this lady whom was rather skillful with that cane she twirled on her hands.

As his feet touched the green wooden planks that coated the staircase, he could hear creeks piercing the ears and almost leaving a ringing sensation.

At this point a small realization came in, this might be the only spot in the house that wasn't new, expensive and spiffy.

Delion's presence in this house has a prime root, suspicion. He wants to figure out just who misses Galius was before deciding if she had anything to do with the murder.

That considered, he made sure to take slow steps as the old, white coated lady held the door open for him. The last thing he would need was to be whacked with a club and slid under her bed as bobcat food.

Passing by safely, he heard the lady bash the door shut, locking it with a key and putting it in her pocket.

Nervousness captivated the 39 year old man's field of thinking, as he slowly reached out for the dagger on his little scabbard.

Then, he heard Gulias utter a stretched out, tone shifting sentence. "Expecting I've been have you."

Thus including a bunch of words that weren't even on the list of what he expected, the malfunctioning detective uttered. "Huh?" With his eyes wide, pupils shrunk small in confusion though.

Able to catch up after a few seconds especially since silence stood by his side, with lady Galius failing to reply.

Delion pointed out the obvious after assuring that this lady was absolutely crazy, "I've never seen you before in my life."

Her vision fixated on the guest, unwilling to break, a crooked smile coated her lips, finally uttering. "But, seen you I have."

Such a saying forced the nearly middle aged man to think one thing, and he didn't fail to use the art of speech for expression. "Oh so you stalked me?"

"I thought smart were you." She answered and then made for a close by chair that stood near her bed.

The elegant white and tidy clothing she was wearing, would make one take this situation as seductive. But the lady's tone struck as a reminder that this could be more of a murder case than anything boner raising.

Pushing aside these crazy games, since Mervin was good as locked out, complete freedom of speech became an option. So he immediately got to the point, "Lady, I have a few questions about Selia. We want to figure out who killed her and you might be the only one who can help us."

Silence captivated the room's aura for a good while, Delion repeated the question yet she didn't answer.

Fear however, didn't take refuge neither on her eyes or facial expression. That crooked smile signified confidence and her entire face followed those lines, forcing this situation to portray creepy.

Until finally, she answered. "You aren't no cousin. Selia grand mother your isn't."

His cover blown from a crazy old lady, but thankfully in a room where no other ear could deliver the message, the detective first answered. "Well shit."

And then put out an attempt to tame this situation for his favour, aiming to keep identity as it is here in Rashim city. "I see you want revenge on Selia's killers as well."

The suspicions towards this lady had reached the sky and whatever was above it, but the situation had to be tamed. So he also added, "We can cooperate if you tell me what you know."

Almost knocking the strong man off his feet, misses Galius recited with a tone that was for once firm and a bit more understandable. "Peachy peachy, Jingo's funeral don't you think was?"

For the first time in a long while, this quiet man echoed from the top of his lungs. "What in the name of hell and anything lower than that."

Keeping to the topic she started, Galius replied quicker this time. "Selia's eyes through see you I, and big that was with you lady."

"Ambers..." He murmured, fearing that she might have been dragged to such craze just by being in Selia's presence.

Through and through this made no sense, but if tagging along Ambers through the investigations in Blenar could lead to any danger, especially paranormal. Then this situation was bigger than he thought it off, although such a thought kept recurring.

But then he heard the bobcat downstairs snarl, likely because of all the meat it was chewing through. Such a sound reminded him of Jimmy the bobcat he had back in Blenar.

And thus he stopped worrying about Ambers, because with an animal by her side who was strong enough to scare away someone as powerful as Selia away, then there was little to nothing he would have to worry about.

His puzzle solving skills became burned out and shamed, so at this point only a question could be made. "What are you?"

"Bone to the cursed, a human." She answered and once more gave the detective trouble to catch up with just what the hell she was talking about.

Delion figured that messing up her words to this extent only linked to craze, so until now he tried to ignore it. Seeing that this room was cleaned and waxed enough for reflections to be seen, he figured that this was also part of craze.

But unwilling to give up and willing to stay away from fighting an old lady, he encouraged antagonism. "Selia's killers cursed you?"

"Play dumb not, not dumb, know why you're here I do." At this point to Delion she sounded like poets that recorded their work before years were counted, but this situation was indeed unique.
