First POV
We made small talk for a while, talking about mainly trivial things, like interests, favorite food, favorite movie, and those types of things to get to know each other. Eventually, Aizy came back into the room and gave our next instructions, "For your next exercise you two will have to fight each other. Alex, I want you to teach this as a training exercise and not as a battle. Give him a challenge though, don't injure him too harshly and give him more openings in your movements."
I nodded and stood up swiftly while offering my hand to Shinsou since he still seemed pretty tired.
We got into fighting stances about fifty feet away from each other. Shinsou's scarf was slightly floating, like Aizy's but less dramatic. If his fighting style is anything like Aizy's, which it probably is, then this'll be pretty easy.
"START!"
Shinsou shot his scarf towards my leg, probably to make me lose my balance. His movements are too predictable. He kept himself at a distance, smart, wanting to go into close combat with me wouldn't be wise. He continued to use his scarf shooting towards my limbs. Eventually, I got sick of waiting for him to make drastic or big moves so I took control.
I quickly sprinted towards him continuously dodging the scarf as he was slowly being pushed back. I saw the slight panic in his eyes as I quickly rushed him kicking him in the side. I left an opening on my right and didn't leave that side tensed or guarded, but sadly he didn't notice and was flown back by my kick.
I stopped my attacks but kept my fighting stance waiting for him to recover. He did after a couple of seconds and went back to trying to capture me with the scarf, though he changed from long range to mid-range, making his movements faster and giving me less time to dodge them.
Once, again I sprinted forward right in front of him grabbing his outstretched arm and flipping him onto his back. Once, his back made contact with the ground, I did a couple of backflips away from him creating distance.
He recovered once again, but to my surprise went straight into close combat. Not bothering to use the scarf at this short of a range. His bodyweight shifted and was now leaning towards his left, "So, he's going for a right kick," I thought. And sure enough, he did. His right leg swung towards my arm just below the shoulder. Noticing this, I quickly grabbed his leg right before it made contact with my arm, and in a flash pinned him on the ground with his right hand bent behind his and his left being held with my left hand and me straddling his body.
"Alright, the match is over!" I heard Aizy yell from the sidelines.
I hopped off of Shinsou's body and helped him up, as we walked over to Aizy.
Aizy looked at Shinsou and handed him a bottle of water, "Many things to go over. Shinsou you need to improve on your attentiveness, multiple times you were almost backed into a corner. Alex also left parts of their body exposed and susceptible to attack, yet you didn't take advantage. Other than that and refining your technique, you have progressed nicely."
Shinsou seemed happy at Aizy's last comment as he smiled slightly and sighed in relief he didn't do too bad.
"Now, you will do this two more times, then you are off to eat and spend the rest of the day off."
We nodded and got back into our stances.
*mini time skip to the end of the day*
We were excused to go do what we wanted for the remainder of the day and I was filled with excitement. I was starving. I rushed over to the cafeteria where I saw Lunch Rush and ordered, "Can I get one plate of pizza rolls and some orange juice please, thank you."
Lunch Rush nodded happily and went to the back. Five minutes later he came back out with a plate of fresh pizza rolls and with a glass of orange juice in hand. After saying thank you, I took the food and sat down at one of the cafeteria tables, and popped a pizza roll into my mouth. It was delicious.
I stuffed the pizza rolls into my mouth one after another and quickly drank the orange juice. I grabbed the empty dishes and gave them back to Lunch Rush while saying another thank you and waving bye.
Today was surprisingly fun, I can't wait for the rest of the internship!
*time skip to the third day of the internship*(a/n: sorry for all the time skips but trust me they're necessary)
We were at Gym Gamma in our hero suits and Shinsou and I were stretching while waiting for Aizawa to come in. Finally, we heard the door open and the familiar hobo looking man walked in, "Alright, you two. We're going to do something different today. Rather than the usual training, you are going to accompany me on patrol and we will stop villains and criminals if necessary."
Excitement filled me as I mumbled a small, "Yes!"
Aizy looked at me, "Don't get too excited Alex, you already have experience, this is mainly for Shinsou to know what it's like to be out on the field. He will be doing most of the fighting, and if needed I will step in to assist before things get out of hand. Alex, you are not allowed to engage unless I give you permission to do so."
My mode immediately dropped as I hung my head, "Yay…"
Shinsou snickered and put his hand on my shoulder. I looked to see he was smiling in amusement, then a great idea crossed my mind.
I looked Aizy and smirked, "YOU'RE NOT MY DAD!"
He mumbled in annoyance, "This kid…"
I ran around Gym Gamma for a while dodging his attacks and spouting nonsense for a solid five minutes before he eventually caught me. His scarf wrapped around my body making me land on the ground with an oof.
He pinched the bridge of his nose while I laughed, "Sorry, it's just annoying the hell out of you is hilarious Aizy."
He activated his quirk, probably for intimidation purposes, though it didn't work, "Please behave just this once problem child, I don't need you causing a ruckus in public."
I nodded, "Yes, daddy!"
He glared, "It's yes, sir."
"Yes, sir!"
And with that, we were off on patrol!
Aizawa POV
The two problem children followed me keeping pace as we lept from building to building silently, watching out, and listening for any activity. The city was pretty boring today, most people were just going about their regular business. After an hour of looking throughout the city, I stopped at the top of one of the buildings and the other two stopped as well.
"So, why did we stop Aizy?" Alex asked. Oh, how much I hate that damned nickname.
"We stopped because there isn't much activity in this area, so we will be changing locations."
"Where are we going?" Shisnou asked.
I looked over at the two seriously, "Hosu city."
We lept from building to building in the direction of Hosu, and we made it there fairly quickly which I was happy about. This city has had a higher crime rate ever since Stain showed up, it might be dangerous for the students, but that's just how the real world works. Life tells you to brush your teeth then bam orange juice and that's how it'll always be.
Soon, I heard a female scream come from an alleyway. I looked at the two and motioned for them to follow me, to which they nodded. We made it quietly over to the alleyway. There we saw a woman in a casual dress backed up against the wall with three other men gathered around her keeping her from escaping.
"Aw, come on pretty lady don't scream, we just wanna have some fun with you." the guy standing directly in front of her said.
"Yeah, plus you're very pretty, it would be a blast," the guy to the left continued.
"We could definitely show you a good time," the final guy declared.
I looked at Shinsou and gave him the signal to move in. He nodded and jumped down right next to the guys startling them as he said, "What are you three doing here? Ganging up on a woman like this?"
The three villains turned to face him. The first guy yelled, "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?"
Then he went blank, great one down.
"Oh, that was easier than I thought, now how do you think I did that?"
The second guy yelled, "Who are you, what's your name!?"
He too went blank, two down one to go.
"You didn't answer my question, now how do you think I did that?"
The last guy looked at Shinsou in fear and hesitation before he spoke, "Y-Your quirk?"
He went blank as well. Great all three down.
"Precisely."
Alex and I jumped down from the building securing the three men before calling the police. Shortly after, they did and took the men into their custody. That went well.
Though hopefully, we don't run into him.
