Doubt

She had been taking them and been healing faster and better. 

She prayed silently that Jade would succeed on her mission and not end up like her. 

She decided to stay in seclusion for days before returning back to the Great Chenigan. 

She was getting better and recovering from the cuts and injuries inflicted on her. 

She stayed in Jade's cave for 9 days without any iota of trouble but on the tenth day, the guards found her right there and dragged her back. 

She was taken to the Great Chenigan for appropriate punishment. 

"You attempted to escape right?" The Great Chenigan thundered. 

Marline didn't respond, she stood in front of her mute. 

"You attempted to escape right?" The Great Chenigan asked again, but this time with so much anger written all over her face. 

Marline never said a word to the Great Chenigan.
