The Miracle

They all fell asleep, including Jade. 

On seeing this, the princess headed to the King's chambers.

She ran with all the strength she had inside of her to the king's chambers. She peeped from a corner to see if the spell worked on the guards. 

Well it did. 

On seeing that, she ran past the sleeping guards and headed towards the king's room. 

She turned the door knob and entered the room. What she saw when she turned around shocked her to her marrows. 

The king's unconscious body laid on the bed. His face looked so pale and his eyes were blood shot. 

"Royal father, what happened to you. Father wake up! Father wake up, Emi is here." Emilia shouted amidst tears as she shaked her unconscious father and pleaded with him to wake up. 

Then suddenly, her eyes spotted a used syringe with traces of yellowish liquid in them. 

She gasped with her hands on her mouth.
