Fear And Desperation

She hopped into the carriage and the man rode the carriage off with a fast pace. 

Off they went, in the dead of the night.

The man who rode the carriage wore an hat which covered his face. He kept mute as they journeyed and galloped on the rough roads leading to the outskirts of the kingdom. 

"Why are we leaving the kingdom? Where exactly are you taking my father and I to?" Emilia asked. 

The man in black remained mute despite being talked to. 

"Hey man in black can't you hear me?!" The princess shouted on top of her voice. 

Her efforts were futile as her shouts fell on deaf ears. 

Frustrated, the princess decided to refrain from talking to the strange man. 

'Maybe he is deaf. Poor old man.' She thought. 

They scaled through the rough roads and left their kingdom behind and got to a different kingdom.
