The Attack

The man in black rode them to a hut and stopped. 

He came down to help carry king Alex into the hut, while Emilia followed behind closely. 

As he laid the king on the bed, he brought out a bottle from his pocket and threw it at Emilia. 

"Give your father this through his mouth." The man in black said. 

Emilia was shocked that he could speak. 

Before she could say a word, the man disappeared alongside the carriage. 

She hurriedly poured a good quantity of the liquid into the king's mouth, after which she laid beside him and prayed that he recover fast.

Everyone in the palace woke up one after the other by daybreak, after Emilia and king Alex arrived at Syrak. 

They all wondered why they slept in open spaces, instead of their respective rooms. 

The queen looked around and saw that all was present, except for one person. 

Emilia. She was missing amidst them.
