This is a story of how an immortal and a mortal fell in love. But there wasn't a meet-cute. The mortal thought the other was dead. But hey, she's okay, it was just a prank! They were getting along well and being third wheels. 
But then the mortal had to go somewhere else for studies. They said bye-bye to each other. And bam! Did someone try to kill her friend? The immortal said: we are going there even if you don't like it! 
K bruh. 
But wait, who's the person trying to kill her?

My girlfriend's a mortal

When Anastasia read the letter even though she wanted to avert her eyes. But something inside her made her want to continue. She couldn't believe the contents. It said:


I know this will be shocking to you and I'm not disowning you. The reason I said you are not my daughter is because of your uncle. Your uncle, believe it or not, is your father. You were born out of wedlock. 


You know, how I told you when you were a kid, I was a military general and your mother had gone for six months to your grandma before you were born? I visited your mother during those six months in her home. So one time, I had a lot of work to do and I couldn't visit your mother at that time. So I told my brother to go to her to make sure she was okay.


Your mother had a bad habit before. She would always drink during dinner. Your mother was already drunk and your father had encouraged her to drink more. She passed out after a few more glasses. 


Here's another shocking truth, your father was a womanizer. Or what you call a man whore nowadays. He had one wife but would sleep with a lot of women. He had a lot of illegitimate children and mistresses who rarely did survive because of your step mother's wrath. Most of them unwillingly slept with him or he would rape them. It's the same meaning I know. They never had children of their own either. Your half-siblings died when they were born.


So after your mother passed out, he raped her. When I found out, I was furious. I sent a letter to my brother that I need an audience for something. We were in this tent and I asked him "did you sleep with my wife?" He answered by saying "she asked for it." I killed him on spot. 


I don't regret doing it because he deserved it. Your stepmother was his first victim and I stayed calm when I heard about it. We never thought of aborting you either, even though we bought the question to do it. You were and are innocent. Please don't think of killing yourself because you were born by rape. 


So you must've guessed by now, you are the only heir to the throne. Don't feel the pressure of coming back home. We see you happy there, you never felt us. That grandma who's the owner of the cafe? She's your stepmother. She just changed her appearance. She's a witch too. You might not have guessed. She has been sending how you are doing in the mortal world. Diana never did erase her memories. The ownership was going to her friend normally.


Your stepmother is a beautiful soul, I know. Ten centuries ago, she wanted to kill herself when she found out your father got killed by me. And you had been conceived. 


She loves you very much, even though you remind her of her husband. She hates him now, don't worry she won't kill you.


There's another paper in there too. If you want to come back home, that's the way back home.


They know what happened too. They'll never hate you. It was quite a shocker for them, had gone quiet for a few days, but they're over it. Don't worry.


Your brother got so mad when he thought we were going to disown you. "Isn't he a lot protective of his loved ones?" You always complained that to me when you were a teenager. I like it he's being overprotective. He loves you and your sister does too.


Don't ever dare of thinking we hate you. I love you very much. I'm very proud of you for being more mature and responsible than your siblings.
