Back Then, Part 1

We had a rough morning when we woke up, it was kinda awkward too since something happened between the two of us last night. As I sat at the side of the bed, Toma noticed some bruises on my back. "You've got a lot of bruises here… I guess I was too hard on your back." That was probably the cause of him digging his nails on my back from last night.

"It's fine. I think I was too hard on you as well, uhm, can y-you get up?" I asked.

Toma looked embarassed about answering, but he still did. "Y-Yeah. I think I'm going to skip today."

"Ah, I'm sorry about that." And I should remind myself not to do this kind of thing withToma during weekdays. I'm surely going to lend him all my notes and stuff. "It's alright. I'll just lay here and try to get some more sleep, heh."

"Okay, but after I get back, you'll have to study all the notes I'm going to write for you." I told him, hoping he wouldn't slack off 'til later.

"Ehhh… fine."

He really don't like studying. "Stop pouting and get some sleep now. I'll prepare some breakfast for you then I'll get going to school later."

"M'kay!"

And after that morning, I got to school with no problems. It felt kind of lonely without Toma, but I was looking forward going back later since I have to teach him lots of stuff. Thinking of him studying was really funny because he always put an annoyed face whenever he faces the books.

"…you look like you're in a good mood." Yuu suddenly appeared when I was getting my lunch.

"Oh, hey there." I greeted.

"How's it going lately?" He asked.

"It's been fine for me. Though there's a lot to do since we're almost graduates. What about you?"

"Ahh, it's been hard for me these days. There's this play we're going to perform at the drama club and I have a major role." Right, Yuu has always been interested in acting so he's been a part of that drama club since then. It's nice to see him doing great there.

"That's cool, you'll get a lot of time acting on the stage." I said.

"Meh. It's not that cool if I have to memorize a lot of stuff to say on stage and that I have to wear a stupid costume."

"Oh… what's your role though? And the play?"

"It's some fairytale called 'The princess and the frog', and I'm the freaking frog!" I tried not to laugh on his unfortunate role.

"Pf- Just do your best."

"Eh?" He looked at me like he caught me.

"What?" I avoided his eyes as he stare at me.

"You just laughed at me!"

"No I didn't!"

"You did!"

"I didn- hahaha!" Crap, I can't stop laughing.

Looking at Yuu, he glares at me but laughed as well since laughing is really quite contagious. "Damn it Yuji, you're so mean."

"I'm sorry, to think that you'll be acting like a frog most of the time on stage is kinda funny."

"Hmm. True. It's just bad luck that I finally got to act on a major role, but as a freaking frog." He sighed.

"There's still next time." I told him.

"Right, we still have one year left, but I don't think I can do club activities anymore so this is pretty much my last time."

"Then do your best on that final performance of yours."

Then Yuu suddenly looked like he thought of something, "Say, I sort of remember that you mentioned to me before that you used to be in a drama club when you were a high school student. Was that true?"
