"He should open his eyes anytime now."
I heard Apollo as I opened my eyes. I could see several blurred figures circling me.
"I told you he was gonna wake up soon. Good Morning kiddo." I heard Apollo smirk as my eyes focussed on the faces of those around me.
I could see Apollo and Dad standing next to me. Artemis was also standing there teary-eyed. Thalia was next to her and it looked like she had been consoling Artemis for a while now.
I tried to get up with Apollo as my support. I saw that near the door sat Annabeth and surprisingly, Ares. Artemis hugged me as soon as I sat up. The hug was way too tight for comfort. I looked at Apollo and Dad. "What happened to me?"
"How much do you remember?" Artemis asked.
"Well, not much, I remember walking towards the car, a huge crowd came towards me and then I felt something stab me and then everything went black."
"Well you clearly did some stuff, brat," Ares mumbled from the side.
"It was…. Scary." Annabeth said. Her voice sounded shook.
I was confused. What was everyone talking about?
I looked at Artemis with a questioning look.
She started solemnly. "When you entered the crowd, we heard the crowd scream and run away. We saw that at the centre stood you, stabbed by Zack. You likely stopped feeling things during that time."
"Where is Zack?" I muttered.
"When he stabbed you, your body reflexively attacked him. He definitely had some weird aura around him. He surely had some external help, for I have never seen him be that good at doing anything." Annabeth claimed.
"It was a scary sight. You, even though in a trance, were radiating a killing intent so intense, that many of the mortals brave enough to stay and look at you, fell to their knees and started shivering in fear.
The Battle was very gruesome as well. While Zack managed to get some cuts on you, I can guarantee you that you managed to do some serious damage."
"To be more exact, you dislocated his jaw and definitely smashed the bones of his right arm into so many pieces that I doubt even Apollo could heal it," Ares smirked slightly. "I was about to get scolded by Big Daddy Zeus when I felt your bloodlust, I ran from Zeus cause' I had to see the carnage you could cause. Must say, not disappointed. I might get scolded even more later but it was more than worth it."
"As soon as Zack saw Ares arrive he ran away." Artemis sighed. "I tried to catch him, but a jet black portal appeared right in front of him and he disappeared into it."
"It would have been better if both of you finished each other off." Ares smiled.
"He might say that but he was the one to rush you to me as soon as Zack ran away." Apollo laughed. "I haven't seen him rush someone to me before, it is generally the onlookers who call me after he is done."
"Shut it," Ares grumbled as he stood up and walked out.
"Good thing he brought you straight to me, and it was even better that the Hindu god was here as well." Apollo pointed out. "That Dagger which Zack used was poisoned with what I would claim to be one of the most lethal poisons I have ever come across."
Everyone in the room went silent when the door opened and walked in a few more Gods. I recognised all of the faces. There was Zeus, Vishnu, Brahma and, Dhanwantari.
"Good to see you still alive Percy." Vishnu smiled warmly. Zeus looked furious. "How dare that child betray us."
Vishnu started speaking "I am guessing Kali used his hatred towards Percy to get him to join his side. That dagger and the Portal were likely Chaos."
"Kali likely invaded his mind while he was unconscious," Brahma said solemnly. "Kali makes evil emotions like anger and jealousy grow stronger. He makes sure that humans make decisions for the worst. In every major event in Hindu mythology which ended in something bad, Kali was present."
"Well, you know, we might be in a bit of trouble if this continues. The power to manipulate feelings and this teleportation thing that Chaos pulled out of his ass are a bit too overpowered." I pointed out.
"That might be true," Vishnu said. "However we still might have hope."
He turned towards Brahma. "We have to call them," Brahma replied with a nod.
"We need you, Percy, to go to India and find Hanuman, the immortal," Vishnu said turning towards me.
"Yeah, but who's that dude."
"Hanuman is an immortal ascetic. He once followed my avatar Ram on his journey, after which he settled down as an ascetic. He was also the chief of the Vanara. He is also considered the God of wisdom and discipline. He would be a great help to us in this war."
Do you really have to ask a person on his sickbed to do such stuff?
"I know what you are thinking, son. We would have sent Narada to find Hanuman but Hanuman has hidden well. He doesn't wish to be disturbed so easily." Brahma sighed. "You are the only ones we can trust with this job."
"But what about other people, if not Greek then what about your avatars or other people from one of your epics," Artemis asked exasperated.
"Artemis, our epics mainly have humans, and once those humans die, they continue with the cycle of life. They are reborn as different people, judged on their life choices, and then reborn again. We Indians never considered having demigods either, so we are a bit stuck here." Vishnu answered.
I sighed. Here we go again.
