An Informative Meeting

I sighed.

"Fine, we'll help. But I need more info about all this stuff you are making us do." I replied.

"Don't worry about it right now. We need you in top form before you travel to India." Vishnu said calmly.

I nodded and with that, he left. Apollo then chimed in, "Very well Percy, your vitals are more or less normal now. You can leave within the next hour. Would you like to pay in mortal cash or drachm- OUCH?"

Dad bonked Apollo's head with his fishing rod, "I suppose a beating would be good."

"Jeez uncle, I was just joking. I wouldn't charge this good nephew of mine anything. Plus I am sure if I did, Artemis would surely shoot some arrows into my butt." Apollo clarified, raising his hands.

"Damn right." Artemis nodded.

"Fricking nepotism. I miss those times people would give up everything to be healed by the God of Healing."

"Yeah, whatever dude." Dhanwantari consoled Apollo while putting his arm around Apollo's shoulder and guiding him outside with him. Others chuckled a bit.

Dad then turned to me. "Thank Olympus you are alright."

"Dad, you wanted to tell me something, didn't you?" I asked, remembering Hermes' words. "Oh yeah there was something I was meant to tell you." He said.

One second. Two seconds. Three Seconds.

"And? What is it?" I asked getting impatient. "Well, I forgot," He said rubbing the back of his head and smiling stupidly. "I kinda forgot what I was supposed to tell you. You know, due to the recent events."

I facepalmed. Seriously? Something so important and he just forgot?

I sighed and told him it was fine.

Around half an hour later, we were transported back to the camp. Nothing eventful happened during the trip. Artemis who was tired after staying awake for so long fell asleep on my shoulder. I noticed Annabeth stealing possibly jealous looks from time to time.

When we reached camp, Chiron greeted us at the entrance. "Percy I heard what happened. Are you alright?"

"I am fine Chiron," I said shaking my head. This old man never stopped caring about his pupils.

I was soon tackled by a massive force. It was Thalia, Olivia and Cally. "You fucking bastard how do you manage to end up in the emergency room every time?" A slightly angry Thalia asked getting up. "I finally met a family member could you not go around dying again?" Olivia said teary-eyed. Cally was glaring at me, and it was sufficient for me to understand that she was livid as well.

"Looks like you survived again you tenacious punk." I heard another voice from the back. I looked up to see my friends from Camp Jupiter. Jason came up to me and helped me get up.

"What have you guys been up to recently?" I asked.

"Well you got the hunters working in the eastern USA, but someone has to take care of western USA. The situation is worse there. Monsters everywhere. You are walking around the corner and suddenly a horde of monsters appear out of nowhere among the mortal and there is chaos everywhere," Frank sighed.

"Oh yeah, I guess we do need to exchange information," Chiron remembered. "Camp Jupiter, Thalia, Annabeth, Cabin Leaders, Percy and Lady Artemis please head to the room. Other campers head back to their chores."

Everyone headed towards their respective areas.

Chiron started, "alright let's begin with Jupiter. What do you guys know?"

Jason started. "Other than the monster breaks, nothing much. Our forces are severely tired now."

Chiron sighed. "Lord Hades said he has had extra protection at the gates of Tartarus since Gaia. He also is clueless on how monsters keep running away."

Wait. Monsters appearing out of nowhere? Escaping from Tartarus without passing the gates? Something clicked in my head.

"THE PORTALS" I shouted. Artemis and Artemis looked at me with widened eyes, realising what I implying. The others looked at us in confusion. Artemis turned to them and started explaining. You see, when that fucker had stabbed Percy and was beaten to a pulp, he disappeared into a black portal. We are guessing that is one of the abilities of Chaos or one of his men."

Chiron looked shocked. Jason and Piper exclaimed. "So that's why they can appear at any time anywhere!" Frank said.

"Ayo that ability seems broken." Leo pointed out. "If that is really the case, then why isn't Chaos flooding our ranks with his army at this very moment? "

Chiron nodded in agreement. "There must be some other factor in play which probably prohibit extreme usage of his power." Chiron then turned to me. "Is there anything else you got to know during your journey?"

"Ares mentioned 'war is coming' and that Kali, the demon had infiltrated Zach's mind to manipulate him to attack me," I answered. Chiron's face darkened. "I had thought of this possibility," He said grimly. "I had read about Kali influencing several of the mishappenings in the myths of Hinduism, so I thought he might try something similar this time around."

He then turned to Jason. "Go back to camp Jupiter as soon as possible. Your morale is low as is. Kali might take advantage of this and manipulate them." He ordered. He then turned to Thalia. "Nothing different from what Camp Jupiter stated was noticed by us," She reported.

The meeting ended soon after. Jason and the others were heading back to camp Jupiter and reporting the new developments and working on countermeasures. The Hunters were going to team up with Camp Half-Blood and do some anti-manipulation sessions with Chiron, no idea what that is about.

Me? I was going to spend some time with Olivia and Cally before the Hindu Gods came to explain the next assignment.
