Chapter 22 Finally!

I've been going r to my birth pack for almost 2 weeks now and have grown very close to many of the members. I feel at home when I'm at my father's house and have gotten very close with all of them. Siggy even lets me call her mom when I feel like it. I was really embarrassed the first time it slipped out but she hugged me and smiled happy that I was becoming closer to her. I've gone out on a few dates with Logan as well yet something still feels slightly off. Even so, we had grown closer. I had got up to get ready for the day Drago and I were going to hang out with the gang today. I had decided to put on some black jeans, a navy tank top, and grabbed the leather jacket Drago had got me.

I headed downstairs, and halfway down I could hear his motorcycle pull into the driveway. I ran to the door to get my shoes on "Bye babe I'll see you later!" I called out as I left the house. Drago was smiling and holding out my helmet. I quickly put it on and hopped onto the back of the bike. Tonight was going to be a full moon and Cinder had been very quiet for the past few days. I was excited though because Drago promised he'd bring me on his patrol tonight. I would get to see his wolf for the first time.

~Drago's P.O.V~

The past couple of weeks had been the best. I had gotten closer to Eva, but she was still with Logan. Goddess, please let her pick me I begged [She will love us we just need her to see it for herself.] Ghost assured me. I pulled into the driveway and saw her rushing out wearing the jacket I had bought her. She walked over to me to grab her helmet the smell of lilacs in the summer breeze hit me, making me light-headed in a good way. When she got on I started the bike and headed back to Blackmoon pack. I was excited for tonight she'd finally get to see my wolf form again. Once we had arrived to pack territory we headed to the pack house. I parked the bike and helped Eva get off the back of the bike. That's when a different sent hit me sending Ghost into a frenzy. Fuck. I gently set her down and looked away trying to calm myself down. I knew that she was in her heat but today it must be at its strongest because it's driving me insane.

I took a deep breath then gently took her hand and lead her to the game room, where the group was waiting for us. I was sad when the heat of her hand left mine. She had gone over to hug the girls. Finn and Beau were playing some first shooter game. I walked over to them even though I was still paying attention to Eva. The girls had decided to play a dancing game. Eva was losing badly and I chuckled. She was such a good dancer with me yet on her own she had two left feet. Then we all decided to play a game together. We had ordered some pizza and played for hours. Then my phone went off. It was my alarm telling me it was time to get ready for my patrol. Beau and Talia got up as well. We all went outside along with Eva. I walked up to her and smiled "Cover your eyes." I advised since we were about to strip down to shift. I saw the cute blush grace her cheeks as she raised her hands to cover her eyes.

We all stripped down and shifted into our wolves. Beau was a grey wolf and Talia was a brown and red wolf. I walked over to Eva and nudged her with my muzzle. She put down her hands and gasped. She reached out to stroke my fur sending pleasurable shivers across my skin "It's you." she whispered amazed. I felt my tail wag and I lay down so she could climb up on my back. Talia, Beau, and I all split up to do our border patrols. I began running to my post and could hear Eva laughing. I kept patrolling my section of the border. My section was next to the Craven pack and after a few minutes, I saw a Grey wolf on the other side of the border. I recognized his scent it was the one that was always all over Eva. Logan. I wanted to growl at him but kept my composure. That's when I felt Eva squirming on my back like something was wrong. I lay on the ground to let her off. Eva climbed down and whimpered in pain. I whimpered hearing her hurt upset me to my core. I noticed Logan coming towards us slowly. Wait... She's shifting! I nuzzled her back trying to soothe her a little when she howled out in pain as her bones began to break and reform.

It was a long grueling half-hour as she shifted into the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Her fur was a sleek jet black, this made her eyes even more striking. She stared directly at me with her bright violet eyes. I watched her adorable ears perk up as she ran up to me showing off her wolf form proudly. I nuzzled her and she playfully nipped at me.

~Eva's P.O.V~

I Shifted! I Shifted! [We shifted.] Cinder corrected me. I was too happy to care. I got up and jogged over to Drago to show off. I felt him nuzzle me as if to praise me. I playfully nipped him making him mock growl back at me. I slipped underneath him where he couldn't reach me when I notice a grey wolf with yellow golden eyes staring at us. I started to smell mint and gasoline which began to jog my memory it was Logan. I yipped at him playfully, but he barely reacted. I tilted my head confused and left my spot under Drago to go to him. I nuzzled him playfully and wagged my tail. He nuzzled me back and I looked at both boys before howling. Then we ran, we ran for hours and hours. I was panting when we had finally gotten back to where I had shifted. The boys had gone behind the tree line to shift. Without warning, I also shifted back and I felt exhausted.

Drago came back out first in a pair of shorts. He had his eyes closed as he held something out to me. I grabbed the fabric and realized it was a simple sundress. I quickly put it on before Logan had come out of the trees as well. I looked back to where my tattered jacket was and sighed. I really did love that jacket. I hugged Drago before wishing him goodnight as I would be heading back home with Logan. I felt Drago kiss my cheek causing me to blush before I rushed over to Logan's side. Logan had a strange look on his face but I shrugged it off and took his hand as we headed back home. Luckily Logan had noticed how tired my first shift had made me so he picked me up bridal style and carried me back.

~Drago's P.O.V~

The run had been fantastic even if Logan was with us. When we got back I went to our little clothes stash and put on some shorts before grabbing a dress that seemed her size. I knew she wouldn't want anyone to see her naked too I closed my eyes as I came out. I felt her soft hands taking the dress out of my hands. When she hugged me I felt fireworks on my skin and I couldn't help but kiss her cheek. I watched her go over to Logan. I had a nagging feeling that I should stop her. I wanted to grab her hand and tell her everything, but I didn't want her to hate me. Please don't go. Somethings wrong, and yet I had to watch her leave with him. My patrol had ended all I could do was head back home and hope this feeling was wrong.
