Real Awakening

When Ichigo and the group arrived at the isolated manor, they attempted to sneak up to it. When the entered, the mansion didn't seem abandoned but still lived in. They kept going until they entered the living room and Tsukishima was seated along with Jackie and Moe. With them was Tatsuki, chatting with Tsukishima as if they were long time friends.

"Tsukishima, what is the meaning of this! You dare take someone hostage?"

"What's wrong Ichigo? Why do you look so upset? I was just hanging out with our friend Tsukishima, he came back recently and wanted to catch up..."

"You bastard! If you hurt her, I'll kill you!"

Grimmjow was surprised at the bad acting between the two fullbringers but Ichigo didn't seem to notice. His eye twitched at how dense he was. This was clearly staged, those two people next to him were previously in that hideout just before Ichigo and he arrived. How could Ichigo not recognize that? Well, he didn't really care, it just meant more people to kill.

"Ichigo, what's the point in talking?"

He charged forward at Tsukishima, but was blocked by Moe and Jackie. He heard the kid behind him say he would create a more suitable battlefield and the world began to warp around him. Instead of two opponents he was now facing one. He heard the kid's voice from the illusion saying the rules for this game was knock-out and then he would face the next opponent.

Grimmjow's first opponent was Jackie. The arena had many rock spires dotted around it and the ground had a shallow pool of water over it. Jackie released her fullbring and began to kick mud around until her boots were dirty. Her ability 'Dirty Boots' gave her strength proportional to how dirty her boots were.

While waiting for her to power up, Grimmjow yawned. Her Reiatsu increased by a lot buy it was still too weak. He charged forward once she was fully powered and punched at her head. Her leg came straight up with incredible flexibility blocking his punch. However, she heard a crack.

The strength of his punch was enough to shatter her bones. She jumped backward slightly limping and realized a mistake with their plan. The killing intent and vicious aura scared her. Grimjow didn't stop there, he continued to attack always aiming for lethal spots. Jackie couldn't take it anymore and shouted for help. The game warped and sent her out, bringing Moe into the arena.

"Not even trying to hide it anymore? Hehe, that works for me though."

"Haiz, so you knew all along? Well not that it matters, because you won't beat me. Luck is on my side today."

Moe says as he pulls out a bundle of four-leaf clovers. He scatters them and releases his Fullbring Jackpot Knuckles. He takes the initiative to attack and Grimmjow scoffs at how weak it is. However, when he blocks it, he could sense his bone breaking. This causes him to smile as he already figured out the trick from a single attack. This, however, didn't stop Moe from explaining his ability like a good villain.

"My Jackpot Knuckles will roll every time I hit something. If it lands on a jackpot, I get a favorable result. No matter how strong you are, a few hits in vital places and you're done…"

However, his words were cut off, like his arm. He watched it fall to the ground and started screaming. Grimmjow just held his hand out with a flat palm. He had cut right through Moe's defenses and sliced off his arm. He figured there is no danger if he can't punch anymore. Hearing the scream, the game warped again Riruka appears next.

As soon as she sees him, she sends out a little pink heart. Grimmjow sees it floating towards him and blocks it in disdain. However, it sticks to him and seems to fuse with his body. Then he feels a suction force bring him into the dollhouse next to Riruka. Inside are various berserk animal dolls that begin attacking.

Grimmjow puts his hands in his jacket pockets and kicks the dolls nonchalantly, destroying them. After he's done, he leaps to the top of the house and destroys the roof, adamant on leaving. Thus, the dollhouse breaks and he's ejected from it. Riruka clenches her teeth in frustration and is pulled out by Yukio's game program.

Meanwhile, Ichigo is duking it out with Tsukishima. However, Tatsuki tried to block him from attacking "their old friend." She even tried to fight Ichigo back to protect Tsukishima.

"What have you done to Tatsuki!?"

"Nothing, I just reminded her of our past."

Ichigo's rage began climbing. Ginjo was trying to assist, but was evenly matched against Tsukishima. With Ichigo blocked by his own friend, he had no way to help in the fight. He cursed his weakness, and when he saw Ginjo get hurt, his strength exploded. In that moment, he was clearly able to sense his powers again. It was instinctual, connecting to his desire to protect.

Once in his Soul Reaper form once again, he shared many similarities to a Fullbring release. He struck at Tsukishima, knocking him out of the building into the field. He chased after him, but was interrupted by several Fullbringers running towards them outside. They seemed panicked. Jackie was limping, holding Riruka as she bled out from a wound on her abdomen. Moe was listless carrying his arm as his severed stump bled. Yukia was unconscious on Giriko's back.

"Ginjo, if you don't do it now, we'll all be dead to that monster!"

"Where are you lot going, I was just starting to enjoy our fight."

"Grimmjow, what's going on?"

In his moment of distraction, Ginjo attacked Ichigo, impaling him with his sword. This caused Grimmjow to get angry. He quickly appeared next to the two of them attempting to help, but Tsukishima blocked him.

"Get out of my way, I don't have time for weaklings like you."

"Book of The End."

Tsukishima was able to slash Grimmjow while he was distracted. The other Fullbringers sighed in relief at this development. Grimmjow was a wild card they couldn't control, but now that he was hit by Tsukishima, he will turn to their side. His ability was practically unbeatable. Memory manipulation was a frightening thing.

However, their expectations were dashed. Tsukishima held his head and screamed. Book of The End allows him to insert himself into the past of the person he cuts. This means he learns of all of his opponent's strengths and weaknesses and they treat him as a friend. However, his mind was overloaded with scenes of blood, murder and savage killing.

The scenes were straight out of a horror movie. Grimmjow was confused for a second and chuckled. He suddenly "remembered" this guy was with him in Hueco Mundo when he was a young Hollow, tearing apart humans and hollows alike to survive. This obviously didn't make any sense, because he would have torn the human apart just as well.

"You… you're a hollow… how? Why are you here!?"

"Shut up. Cero."

However, the cero barely missed and only destroyed Tsukishma's left arm. It was fairly weak in his gigai so Grimmjow didn't expect much. He turned to Ichigo to help, but realized he was fine. Apparently, Grimmjow wasn't the only one to pull a reversal on their opponent.

A few minutes ago, Ginjo stabbing Ichigo.

"Ginjo… Don't fall for his tricks… Tsukishima isn't your friend, it's an illusion!"

"Heh, although he cut me, I don't need to be manipulated. This was always the plan. Help you get your powers back and then steal them!"

A whirlwind of blue Reiatsu formed between them and Ginjo could feel the powers flowing into him. However, he suddenly hit a snag in the flow. He looked over at Ichigo and he had several bright blue vein patterns appear all over his body. Ichigo's irises had also turned completely blue. His Reiatsu churned and began to flow in reverse.

Ginjo panicked and attempted to pull his sword out and stop the transfer, but Ichigo grabbed Ginjo and the sword. He seemed to be out of his mind. This was not the Ichigo he remembered, but a cruel cold-blooded killer. All of Ginjo's powers flowed in reverse and into Ichigo. At the last moment, Giriko was able to interrupt with a well-placed explosion, leaving Ginjo with only a sliver of power left.

Grimmjow went over to check on Ichigo, seemingly ignoring the group of weaklings. Ichigo's vein like pattern faded away, but his Reiatsu kept climbing. He stuck his sword out which had returned when he awakened his powers again, and it fell apart into spirit particles. Then, it reformed into his oversized bow. The group of Fullbringers had already begun to flee, however, Moe suddenly exploded when a gigantic blue arrow penetrated his chest.

"One down, seven to go…" Ichigo said in a cold voice as he drew back the string, forming another blue arrow. On his back were a pair of spiritual wings which drew in all the spirit particles around to fuel his shots.
