I was speechless. What were these girls trying to do?
"Answer," she said in a cold tone, "I asked you… What is your real relationship with Johann?!"
"I… We're-"
Johann suddenly came rushing from the cafeteria and cut me off, "Why do you want to know our real relationship?" he stood in front of me.
The group of girls panicked a little, but the one who was asking me a question was the most courageous one, and so she responded, "Johann, we were just curious. That's all."
"Hmm? Curious?" Johann uttered. He grinned as if excited to speak up, "Then... I'll tell you my real relationship with Zurich. She's my-"

This is one of my stories which I made during my highschool days, so this is special for me~
The original story had only 2,500 words in total and I have expanded it and revised it to more than 4,000 words! There are some deviations from the original in terms of pacing and I have omitted some scenes, but the sequence of events and the ending is still the same.
This is a short story! I hope you'll like it!

Such a masterpiece!! I hardly came across with a story like this on this platform. It is an emotional short story which teaches you to appreciate the close people around and be good to them. You don't know when they will go away from you. Heartbreaking yet a wonderful story that taught me to love those who are close to me.
Interaction can be very paradoxical at times. It's not rare that the closer someone is to us, the more we are less aware of that person's presence. Because of that sometimes separation will help our hearts to remember the importance of the presence of those we love. The problem is, what if the separation that we had to experience wasn't just for temporary, but for eternity. Like the story in this work. That's why, I really like the moral of the story in this book. A simple message to always pay attention to the people we live with, so that later there will be no regrets left when the farewell comes to visit. Author, thank you for this brief but meaningful story.
When I started reading this book, I thought it would be like a love triangle- **** love kinda. But as I keep reading this, I found how beautifully this book is written. A great lesson indeed you will get after reading this book that is to care for those who are around you because after you lose them there is nothing left except a regret which goes throughout your life. Thank you dear author for sharing and writing such a beautiful story on this platform. Indeed, short but heart- touching with a great life lesson.
First of all, Author why do you need to hurt me like that :( This is such an amazing story that is definitely worth reading. 😭😭The point and the meaning you are trying to say were clear and at the same time heartbreaking. I hope the story teaches us a lesson that we should stop taking our loved ones for granted.

Never thought a book would make me cry and a character would feel this way. Zurich and Johann were really good. The story is really nice. The ending was the most beautifully written sad one. Why do he have to die when he was the one who loved her the most?. The story is remarkably good.
