Dream

I was laying down on what seemed like a hard cold and wet concrete ground . My eyes felt heavy and as though the lids had been sowed shut. So I couldn't open them to see my surroundings. But it didn't matter, I knew that this was just a dream. So wherever I was, wasn't the main concern. My other senses were able to draw certain conclusions of where I might have went to however . I could definitely hear a nearby waterfall, but the sound of water dripping on rusty leaves was a lot more audible. A cave perhaps, if not, then a jungle. Sometimes I was able to pick up on the energy of my surroundings whenever I did start lucid dreaming. At times, it even determined whether or not I wanted to stay or wake up. In this case, I felt like I had no other option but to stay. Though did I want to stay, I couldn't tell. My mind wasn't cooperating with my gut and indecisiveness overtook me.

I should really open my eyes now I thought to myself. It was time for me to explore another newfound land. I wanted to see where my subconscious had taken me to this time. As I was concentrating on trying to open my eyes I felt a sensation run down my cheek, I internally challenged that it couldn't be, but it was. I brought my right hand to feel it and it was water. The dripping had landed on my face. Not only was I able to feel the sensation but also touch it. I'd also realised that my fingers were dampened from the water, both by the ground and by wiping the water drop.

It worried me slightly, how was it that I am able to interact physically with... a dream.

My eyes had finally opened, but only partially. Though at least now I could see that I was in fact inside a cave.
