Veor

'My name is Veor.' He walked closer to me and his large stature was now over shadowing me.

'I don't remember asking' I hissed back. I was still knelt down near the water in hopes of trying to rid of the blood.

'Im just here to warn you that your kind rarely visits, and when they do they rarely survive. I've seen a lot of their personalities in my time and your the type that... won't.' He chuckled and turned back round. I could hear his wet footstep strut whilst he walked to reach the caves way out, but just as he was about to leave he mumbled..

'But have your fun while it lasts, this place is the closest thing you'll get to a heaven.. but that's before you eventually realise it's the exact opposite.' He chuckled again, but this time it sounded eerie.

I turned to him thinking could this be real, could I have really ended up somewhere.. maybe I was abducted.. just anything that would explain that it wasn't a dream.

'Wait!' I quickly stood up.

'So where am I..? And why did you say this was the cause of.. a dream' I whispered hopelessly.

'City of Lucid, its quite obvious from the name of this place..' he said snarly.

'But how does one ..get here, you said my kind sometimes visit..?' I walked nearer to him.

'Well simply because your kind is quite dull, they like to involve themselves in activities that are dangerous and still willingly do it..' he let out a 'HA!' before continuing 'lucid dreaming leads to, which your kind are yet to discover, the unexplainable reason why some humans go into comas. You just happen to be the unlucky few that now has.'

That can't be, no. I was just alive and in my bed not even ten minutes ago. I have done this many times, I know what I'm doing. But it was because I had done this many times, I knew that what I was experiencing right now, was not a lucid dream yet alone a dream.

'Ahh, your wound is healing..' he looked over to my hand. He was right, there was significantly less blood dripping from the cut.

'Seems like you might just pass the pathetic stage of actually staying .' His expression looked rather surprised.

'What's stage?' I frowned.

'Acceptance of events. It means your no longer in denial by thinking this is a dream. Impressive.' He then hunched out the caves hole. I followed.
