7 Chapter 6 A little more

"I'm sorry I had to leave without seeing you, let's talk when I get home." I stopped for a split second. "I'll be back..." it took a while before I could let the next words out. "I promise..."

I bit my lower lip and swallowed my next words, it was hard enough flying out in a haste but without telling him... it was way too much

These next steps would determine the next years of my life, I would have to stop being

myself and become a completely different person

I whipped my phone into my purse as I fought back the tears. I was leaving so much dismay behind, I smiled bitterly as I picked my phone up again and scrolled through the 30 unanswered calls and 15 unopened voicemails to Ethan; how did I even expect him to forgive me after running off this morning without any notice

Elaine was still unconscious in the hospital, I could work a transfer when I got home... at least if all things went well

"Miss, please are you for the next flight to Qatar?" a lady in a fancy uniform asked, when there was no response she moved closer and repeated lightly. "Mam the next flight leaves in 20 minutes"

I jolted in my position before stopping to glance at the time on my phone, it was 9:15am. This was going to be a long flight I thought inwardly

"Mmhm, thank you" I finally replied remembering she was in the same position, I turned to move before my phone beeped

What I least expected, I scoffed as I read those words, for the first time I felt a big wave of irritation for my phone

"Safe trip, you wish!" I murmured under my breath

20 minutes later

I sat there watching people walk by. I had been booked for a first class seat; if I was going to live lavish henceforth I'd better start spending

There was no argument to the fact he wanted me back for his interest; he had used me once- without any pay, this time I would retrieve all I had lost.

The thought of this alone made a smile curl up my face before I could react. I turned to pick my purse up making provision for the person beside me before I got the greatest shock of that day

"Hey" he took initiative to speak first with a smug look

"You..." I rolled my eyes at him. I didn't think our paths would ever cross again especially with the way we ended things.

It was just a flight right? What could possibly go wrong, I mean I could become a total snub till our flight ends right.... or... Just then an idea popped in

It was useless but worth the try, I mean they could really consider me crazy but that was it right..?

"Hey, excuse me.." I turned ignoring him. "Do you mind switching seats, this guy has so much cologne on and I'm highly allergic" I heard myself spill this whole round of rubbish

He looked at me trying to comprehend what I had just tried to do, when he finally did he chuckled a little then sank into this seat

"Well, I'm also allergic to men cologne..." Those words made my stomach sick, I turned slowly to see the evil grin on his face grow wider before I feigned a smile

"Ok" I said and reclined to my former position

"But.... you could switch seats with my neighbor here, I don't know who he is but let's pray he's a kind fellow" she cut in again with a wide smile

This was good, I could just kowtow for this guy to let me switch places, I was happy until...

"That seat belongs to my assistant you know.."

He didn't need to complete those words, I knew this would be the worst trip I'd ever have

Leaning back to my seat I heaved deeply as I put my eye pouch on. I'll rather sleep through than endure his torturous conversations.... but he didn't talk much.... Thought of that made me smile a little again until...

"I'm Yun Da.... I don't think those pouches could really help.."
