"....Yun empire has since then spread across the globe while impacting greatly.." Qiu Ye finally concluded the hour long seminar on the next Yun project
Everyone seemed impressed at this, everyone except him of course
Yun Qi rolled his eyes obviously uninterested at the presentation, he wasn't impressed, not even a bit
Everyone had eyes on him, his verdict was final and after redoing this proposal for the fifth time they prayed he would write least have a heart good enough to let them off
"Is this how we are supposed to win this...?" his cold voice rang rhetorically across the fancy hall, they could literally roll on the around begging him to accept the proposal. It was good enough, he knew that but it lacked something...
"I hate it" he continued finally killing the last ray of hope they had
"But Young master, this proposal has undergone review from the best panel in China and it's been found good enough so..." Yang Lin chipped in
"Miss Lin.." he answered
She sat there now glued to her chair, her initial courage had now melted into a puddle of water
"What do I pay you for?"
"To... to work?" she answered confused
"Does it seem like you're working now?" It was a trap and she knew it
"Sir... I.. I only intended for...."
"If you're going to stay here you're going to do so by my rules...." he paused for a brief second." And that includes top of the list, redoing this proposal until it suits my standard"
He stood up making the air about him drop, he had something to say, he opened his mouth to speak before something buzzed loudly filling the entire room.
Everyone sat stifled in their seats waiting to see that very unlucky person before he pulled his phone out of his coat
He answered the phone and stood without uttering a word, he scanned the room again before ending the call, he picked his glass of water and gulped it.
"9:00pm today, I want it redone and sent to me or you can forget about working for Yun Cooperation. Meeting dismissed" he said without a second thought
Evil, the devil himself, Lucifer, Asura; those were names his staff had given him since he took over from his father, he knew all of this but didn't have the heart to care
Many thought he was like those characters from the novels who act all evil but had a good heart, he was different, evil on the outside and every other part
"I'll pick you from the airport once you arrive, we'll have to cancel tonight's dinner, I'll make it up to you" he said with a voice no different from his tone earlier
"My flights' been delayed for tomorrow" she replied softly "what's up, why did you cancel?"
"He's coming in today, I've gotta go pick him up"
"Who is?" she asked not hiding her lack of interest
"Yun Liu" he said as though the name made him sick. It was his brother but he didn't hide the irritation in his voice
"Ohhh, did you also hear Yun Da will be coming back too?"
He was struck at this, why did all of these keep rolling in today
"Were did you hear this?" he asked now entering the private elevator
"I have my sources, trust me its authentic" she replied boldly
He paused for a brief moment
"I'll call you when I get home"
"Mhm" she didn't sound annoyed as she ended the call
He stepped out of the building 5 minutes later and entered his car, he was professional at everything but wouldn't agree to be carried around by a driver and insisted driving himself
His phone beeped for the second time that hour; it was a text
He kept staring at the words boldly displayed on his screen
They were all returning, his greatest fear was starting to relive itself
"This is your plan isn't it?" he asked crossly over the phone
The person on the other end guffawed, not what he expected as an answer
"You like it?"
