Since attaining Cole is my very goal, than I have no choice but to leave Chase behind. And now that my roommates have loosened their modern survival skills a bit, they were more containable.
But it isn't like I don't have intentions for each person to have a go with the only charging point that goes with the generator (still surprised how they figured that one out cause we've a lot). Just that I would love for it to go in an orderly systemic manner, obviously with me in the lead.
Regretting talking my dad off about getting local torch lights, I wandered about the corridor, in search of Cole's room.
Finally tracing it, I pondered on knocking when a loud thunder answered the question.
"Cole Cole. Well what a surprise that your still sleeping," I nod my head watching him cuddle with the blanket.
Wishing I brought my mop upstairs with me, I tried waking him up different times with multiple unsuccessful methods.
First of all, I began slapping him but that only made him begin to snore.
Seeing that didn't work, I pulled at his hair which only made a groan erupt.
Noticing that the one effect it made on him was to roll over,I decided it was time to take things up a notch.
I was about to climb on top of him when I noticed that he never let go of the blanket he clutched to.
Having an idea, I used all my strength and successfully dragged the blanket off his body revealing a thin boxers clinging to his lower body.
"Hey who turned off the lights?" Cole groans, stretching almost to my face.
Taking hold of his hand, I replied. "Hey keep your hands to yourself Cole. And get dressed, seeing you in boxers isn't exactly the highlight of my day," I say turning away to his wardrobe.
"Valley? Why's this place so cold?"
"God!" I exclaimed throwing him a pair of jeans. "Really I wouldn't be a surprise if you'll still be sleeping if the place is on fire. But now it's raining and I need you to dress up and come help me with your grown up kids downstairs," I turned my back away as he stood up, beginning to dress.
"Sure. Anything for you," He says making me feel like turning around and give him a piece of how I felt. But instead, I did this.
"Also since the lights are out, you'll have to watch your head,"
"What why? I can just use one of these touches I found in this room," Hearing this, I shot my head to his direction.
"Holy Crap! How did you get this?"
"Well I got it from this box that contains five other little torches with a note from your dad, I mean Mr Navarreth," He hesitated as I noticed the brown box he was holding.
Staring at it, I felt a smile beginning to form. "Wow I've never been so lucky. Thank you Cole!"I said jumping at him, only to be enclosed into a much deeper hug as none of us moved.
Pulled away with much effort, I fidgeted in my spot. "So I think you should be going now," I clear my throat taking a torch.
"Yeah," Only saying that, he left.
Waiting for him to leave, I tried rubbing off any tingling feeling he left on me as I stared at the door that had light blaring from it.
Louis.

I wouldn't say the place was a mess, but that was the best possible way to put it.
On the bed were ruffled blankets and floor and table were stains of paints and squeezed out paint cans.
Pushing the door open, I began to hear humming coming from the bathroom.
'Guess he's busy,' I thought, about to leave when I notice some folded jeans on the studying table, giving me an idea.
^^^
Louis was still in the bathroom leaving me time to change from my damp shorts into one of his nice smelling jeans.
Seeing that they were a bit baggy, I began to fold the ends of the jeans when I noticed a cloth covering my view from a canvas that seemed to be special with the way it was kept on a stand.
'Maybe it's what he's working on' I thought walking over to it.
Well there's only one way to find out.
I rested my hand on the piece of clothe when I hear a voice behind me.
"What are you doing here?" Behind me was Louis with a wet towel in his hand, he was fully clothed tho, but amusement highlighted his now pale skin. "And why are you wearing one of my pants?"
"Wha - why would you think that?" I ask trying to sound confused. "Girls own guy jeans too,"
"True," He says dropping the wet towel on a chair. "True but your wet shorts lying on my bed and the jeans your wearing is obviously falling off your waist," He smiled resting on the chair.
"Wow so much observation in one go, your truly on a role," I nod sarcastically. "But I was just going to leave," I smile moving towards the painting.
"Sure. But aren't you suppose to move towards the door instead?" He comes to my front, blocking my view.
Well if he wants to play that game....
"Oh well, I'll be going. Argh!" That was me yelling as I shot myself over him only to be grabbed ruthlessly by the waist before I could reach my destination.
"Hey watch where you put that ass," He drops me to the bed. Stretching, he played me no more attention as he kept the folded clothes. "Plus I can't let you check the painting before I'm done,"
"Why?"
"Zed!"
I felt my mouth drop as I looked around for clarification. Was it just me or did he crack a joke?
Rubbing off the surprised look, I thought of a persuading method that would work in this situation.
"Well since you know that I'm a fellow artist, why don't you show me so I can give you my critic,"
Turning to me, he gave me an honest reply. "No!"
"Pretty please,"
"No,"
"Yes," I say changing my technique.
"No,"
"Yes,"
"No,"
Smirking, "no,"
"No,"
Shocked at how he reflected it, I spoke.
"I thought you would say yes,"
"You know that only works in the movies right?"
"Yes." I reply in defeat. "But do you know something else Louis?"
"No?"
"Since you came out of that bathroom although you might've been distracted to notice, you never had your glasses on," I smiled at the way he paused abruptly.
Turning slowly to me, I watched as the realization hit him.

Shucks, I remember writing this when I had a splinting headache. God I was so pissed with myself cause I saw people on these writing platform making names and I was just in chapter 13, being my motivation into completing it, and now I'm getting honest reviews, although they are slow. Like sometimes I don't even get any, but that doesn't stop me from having hope NO. Hope is only lost when someone's gone.
Too deep? Well shucks, please vote, comment and share. Means the world to me.
