My End

I flinched, not because it was a painful bite, but because it brought up nice memories of the past. The bite also gave me a breather since Yan Luofan seemed to be disoriented from Natalia's plucky greeting at me. He had no idea what the bite was for and as such, he didn't carelessly swoop in to defeat me. For all he knows, Natalia was hiding some sort of power and the bite had something to do with it.

"Good to see you too, Natalia. What was that for?" I calmly asked despite seeing Natalia's scrunched-up face. It was painfully obvious that she was angry about something,  and as to what it was I could only wonder.

A recollection from the time before I left them suddenly appeared in my head, and I tried to figure out why Natalia was angry at me. But after thinking about it for a couple of seconds, I couldn't seem to find a specific memory that got Natalia enraged. We were even on good terms when we said goodbye so why was she angry now?
