Losing a Friend

"Oh yay! We are about to see the whole city from the top!" I clap my hands with excitement as I look at the view outside with anticipation.

"There's another thing that you'll confront," Samuel utters.

"What is that?" I look at him, questioningly.

"My feelings Sarah." He suddenly leans closer to me, encaging me with his arms on both my sides. I look at him with widened eyes. My heart pounded faster against my chest and for a moment I was afraid of his next move.

Will he really do that? Will he close the distance between us?

I don't know why but I couldn't move my body. I couldn't feel the energy to push him away or even back myself away. I just remained on my seat with my eyes fixated on his.
