As with all things, there was no sunshine without rain.

Or rather, it didn't take too long for someone to rain down on Li Yang's own satisfaction. In the corner of his vision, the familiar black and white furball appeared with its arms crossed over its chest.

It was far from the actual devil, but it might as well have been one.

"Congrats, I guess." The creature glanced over the screen and huffed. "You've done very well in exposing your edge of another world and using up some ingredients you have but at least you can sneak your way into her pants–wait you already did that haven't you?"

Li Yang gave it a dull look. Did Bao truly assume that the only legitimate reason he could help someone was to get into their pants? There were social and long-term benefits in helping Bo Lifen which was a bonus, however, there was also nothing terrible with some altruism.
