CHAPTER TEN

AMELIA POV

As we approach the black Mercedes SUV parked in front of our building Jumari and Eliot comes out to greet us. Tish walked straight to Jumari hugging him while I just stood still.

I looked at my date standing in front of me. This guy is beautiful, I thought to myself. The both of us was doing a stare off until he decided to lick his lips and smile. That made me divert my attention to Tisha and Jumari who was putting our stuff in the back. He made my heart race...

"Hi" his voice startled me. When did he walk up to me...?

"Hi" I said, looking at him, I didn't realize I was smiling back at him.

"So, um, are you excited about today?" he asked while rubbing the back of his head,

"Um, yeah, you?" I asked, blushing evident on my face.

"ye..."

"Come on you guys, let's go" Tisha said, cutting him off...

Then what he did surprised the hell out of me. He held my hand and guided me to Jumari's car. He opened the door for me allowing me to enter before him and helped me into the car. His hands felt so good in mines, the touch made my heart feel some type of way, I can't really explain it but it felt good. He entered the car after me. Then we drove off.

"It would take us about an hour to get there guys" Jumari informed us.

Eliot and I was in the back seat while Tish and Jumari was up front. They were holding hands while Jumari drove which was really cute. Then Jumari kissed Tisha's hand and for some reason my eyes teared up. I'm not envious of my cousin's relationship and I will never be but at that point I realized that I needed a love of my own, I could admit that I'm lonely. I wiped that tear from my eyes fast enough so nobody else could have noticed it and diverted my vision to look out the window.

"You look great by the way" Eliot whispered, somehow he got closer to me...

"Thanks, you too" I returned the compliment, but he does look yummy,

He was wearing a red Holister t-shirt, a light brown cargo shorts and a red and white vans. Oh and he smelled so good and a plus for me was his minty fresh breath that's making me want to taste him...

"I'm really glad I'm getting this opportunity to hang out with you Amelia, hope I didn't intrude..."

"N-no you didn't," I cut him off "honestly I was really nervous, but I'm happy you agreed to be my date"

With that he took my hands into his and kissed it while looking me dead in my eyes....

For the rest of the drive our conversation was slow, mostly because Tisha would cut in and talk about something that happened during the week with Jumari and then Jumari would ask for Eliot's opinion and that conversation went on for a while. I obviously had no input because I made myself scarce the entire week.

We finally get to our destination.

Jumari and Eliot exit the car first and Eliot opened the door for me which was really cute...

"Jumari can't you open my door..." Tisha said and we all burst into a fit of laughter.

This place is crowded with a lot of people. Jumari and Eliot left Tish and I at a nearby concession stand to get us tickets for the rides.

"Having fun yet?" Tisha asked, looking at me with a wide smirk,

"Actually yes" I admitted,

"I could tell that Eliot really likes you hun, he can't stop looking at you"

Blushes upon blushes, I can't control them...

"I like him"

Before Tisha could say anything else the guys returned with our tickets...

We went on almost all the rides but Tish and I were exhausted and couldn't go on any longer. Eliot was great with me, I'm beginning to think that he likes holding my hands. There were a few times I caught him staring at me but I would be lying if I said I wasn't staring back. He made me laugh a lot also.

We were all sitting having pizza and light conversation..

"Come with me" Eliot whispered then got up and took me by the hand leading me away from Tish and Jumari. I don't even think they noticed that we left them, maybe when the need to gasp for air then they'll realize it...lol

Eliot took me for a walk on the boardwalk, it was 9:15 and the moon was bright, I could get use to this romantic stuff, I thought in my mind.

"I was hoping you would get scared when we were on the Ferris wheel so I could get an excuse to hold you" Eliot joked, but I could tell that he was serious...

"I'll make a note of that for next time" I said

"Next time?" he asked

"um, ah" I stuttered, I hadn't realize what I just said....

"I understand what you said, but I would really love it if we could hang out again"

We stopped at the end of the broad walk staring at each other...

"Gosh you're beautiful" he whispered, enough for me to hear.

After what he said I don't know what got over me to do what I did next...

I walked up to him and put my hands around his neck and kissed him. I froze upon realization of what I was doing but thankfully Eliot took the lead and encircled his arms around my waist which brought us even closer to each other. I was sure he could feel my heart pounding out of control. During our kiss he licked my bottom lips asking for my entrance to which I humbly parted my lips so he could kiss me deeply.

He tasted so good and neither of us wanted to stop. I ignored the annoying ring my phone made and continued kissing Eliot. My heart was going out of control and his touch made my body heat up in want and need for him then all of a sudden I pushed him away. The both of us were trying to catch our breath while staring into each other's eyes.

My phone rang again and I decided to answer it,

"Where are you guys".....
