The tshamari smiled at Teriah's extremely bewildered expression, with her cold forefinger she stroked Teriah's cheek fondly before leaning back to her rugged chair to look upwards to the dark rugged stone ceiling. She let out a deep sigh after a while. 


"Isn't this what we all yearn to know child." 


"The tree of life of course does all this in accordance to the will of the heavens. It is only a medium after all. Just as we are mediums for the tree of life, it is also a medium for a higher existence." 


"This... You mean there is another existence more powerful than the tree of life that governs all life as we know it.!" Teriah's voice was incredibly shocked and quivering slightly. 


"Of course child. The Tree of Life is only a medium. It's the gateway between the human world and the spiritual world, also it's the gateway to a higher plane of existence above it."
