Autumn was an excellent time of year to visit southeast Pennsylvania. Days could be warm, sometimes reaching 70. Nights could be chilly, the perfect time for bonfires and smores. Fall foliage around the Appalachian foothills was breathtaking. Mixtures of reds, oranges, and browns stacked upon rolling hills; mixed against parades of farm trucks and tractors bringing in the harvest will make you want to give up the distractions of modern life and trade them for the carefree countryside. Haunting season was in full go, but even if you weren’t into the whole paranormal vibe, Millersville was a picturesque destination for the perfect fall getaway.
