Assassins in the Main Front

The area turns back in the tavern settings with the table, and chairs appearing back to were they were. The night sky shows itself once again with multiple stars giving off dim light. The tiger on the floor slowly shifts back into the tabaxi person and still looking drained of life and malnourished. While huddled with the group, Seph came up with a plan.

"I thought of something smart with using what we have. This time for this strategy, we'll need to bait the enemy into a trap" Seph says

"I don't think a simple trap would work on devils, I mean the first guy the Lucas is currently holding off right now is sure to be a devil. One of two leaders, we're taking out the other" Dom says

"Well we're not going to try to beat their boss. We are going to capture them. I have some magic energy left to create a barrier I can trap them with, though it won't be strong enough the rest of you will have to assist me in making the barrier. Ever heard of joint spell casting?" Seph continues on

"Yes, that's when a party of two or more cast the same spell using the same incantations. Allowing the spell to be even more powered" Dom answers

"So we need to cast the same spell you're going to use, alright easy enough" Ravenna says

"I don't have any magical energy, so I can't help with that" Dom says

"I can sense magical energy from the curse on your hand, just provide me with that and it should be alright" Seph replies

"Understood" Dom responds

"Besides, if ever we get into trouble we can use that Pfyre guy" I say

"Er no, he's not going to help us this time. He only showed himself because he hated tigers" Seph says

"How unreliable" I say

Ravenna enters the area with us following in from behind. Noises of battle came from straight ahead, another path on the right side with faint foot prints showing that the Gems came from this way going to the main front. Ravenna goes right with us following, using a straight line formation with Dom from the very far end to assist us during sneak attacks. The foot prints get even more faint the deeper we go in and leads to a left path. The straight path has a door at the end with this time having no label. Ravenna approaches the door and attempts to open it.

"It's locked" Ravenna says

"I'll handle this" I say

I take out the Thieves' tool from my bag, and attempt to unlock the door. Being experienced with it, I easily disable the lock and open the door only to find out that no one was inside. The room was filled with bookshelves and boxes filled with scrolls. We enter the room inspecting the place and the things inside.

"Hey, take a look at this" Seph says

The rest of us approach her as she shows a paper with writings on it. The paper had important dates circled and labelled with what date is for. I find the day for today and see it encircled with the writings saying 'Hollow Arthas Strikes'. They knew of our plan of attacking today. I took a scroll and read the contents, these are all plans of action for different ideas. One scroll had the plan on how they'll annihilate the king.

"We should get back, it says here that they're attacking the royal palace and this was just a diversion to lure Hollow Arthas here" Seph says

"So this was just a bait they left for us? Damn it" Razz says in frustration

"They're expending troops to weaken the royal army, they attack the king tomorrow. Their leader will be the one fighting him the moment the sun rises" Seph says

"Then we should get out of here" Ravenna says

Before Ravenna could exit the room, Razz finds a metallic bottle container with no label.

"Guys, take a look at this.This container sounds like there's something inside" Razz says

"We have no time to spare, we should get going now. Just hurry up and follow Razz" Ravenna says

The four of us leave the room leaving Razz behind knowing he would follow us. We go through the same pattern we came from, but exiting from the main front. The screams can still be heard from there. We continue running out following the sounds of battle until we reached outside. Battle was every where. We rush through the battles and multiple Gems come at us. Domotraus uses his cursed hand to absorb most of the magical attacks, while Ravenna being the front of the formation she gracefully evades and blocks incoming attacks followed by Seph giving them the knockout blow. I was at the very back and long range attacks came in from behind. I grab my sword and it glows along with my hand. I shoot out magical waves to counter the attacks shot at us. The Gems were outnumbering the knights of Hollow Arthas but the knights stayed strong and took out many as they can. I approach one of the knights in a sword lock with a Gem. Doing a sneak attack, I stab the Gem behind at his nape and put him down on the ground.

"Thank you" the knight says

"Why's there only few of you guys here?" I ask

"Captain Zaber was the one who planned out a two-way attack. The next platoon should've been here by now with their long range bombarding their main base, but something must've happened that delayed them. We're just holding our stand here" he replies

"Where's Captain Zaber?" I ask

"He's the one leading the second platoon, the one leading this platoon is currently fighting one of the their higher ups" he responds

"Keep it up, we'll end this soon" I assure him

He takes a potion and his battle wounds slowly closes. I leave him trying to catch up with the rest of the group, I turn around and see that Razz hasn't even came out yet. What's taking him so long? Continue rushing through the Gems, I slash any that came in my way, and blocked as many as I could. Magic shots were shot at me, some I took the hit as I couldn't block them all. Soon around ten of them block my path.

"Out of my way!" I shout

I drop a smokebomb hiding myself. My hand glow and I shoot out beams at the direction I last saw them. Magic shots also came in from outside, all aimed towards me as if they could see through the smokescreen I placed. Shields would appear in small portions blocking the shots that would hit me. I don't recall being able to create magical shields but whoever set this up, thank you.

"I finally found you" a voice came from behind me
