This was originally a delicious box of old scrap personal diaries that follow a stranger. Although as the further into the books I became, I had the urge in seeking the rest of it. 

Given this was a time of machines. I had my luck in finding the right souls. A sort of system has scanned, registered and submitted all data into some hidden storage database. 

Apparently 'any alterations were consult with administrator. All data from corresponding subjects was included among the scanned records, sometimes blended into the narrative. Makes for easier storage and reading flow.' I wasn't the only one who fell into the reading then.

Real Author (Kittah): 

This story is not a typical female lead novel, not a lot of romance but coping in a post apocalypse. Which I don't get why female lead novels have to have a element of romance. It starts out as a diary should but further on, things change. The world around was the one we know of now but this story is later set in the unknown future. At times it can feel like I am trying to write a horror novel, but that's not what it is. This really is just a bumpy journey of a female character. 

I must rewrite my disclaimer which is the author note of chapter one. This seems like it relevant to today with the global pandemic. However the inspiration is my personal experience during the swine flu outbreak in the UK around 2012 or 2013. The majority of this story is prewritten but I have been changing it since putting it online. 

And, yes story does spill over into the author notes. You will understand in the later chapters. It's a writer's choose.

[Author notes: Most illness encountered in the story are based of real life ones but with my stories twist. Some are totally made up.] 


ST / sheep tears - Sort of chest infection for sheep and other similar (not limited to horse, lamas and other hooves grass eaters - but not cows), the infection spreads by transmission of saliva. Sever cases will find the whole lymphatic system taken over and modify the nodes to replicate only the infection. There seems a cure linking this infection to Mad cows, injected with Mad cows means full recovery in 4 months. 


MC / Mad cow - This is a water in the brain caused by the trigger of eating infected meat. The exact cell type isn't investigated properly. For some reason, trace amounts of infected meat or blood can cause trigger. Further incubation of the infect causes incurable hunger for more flesh. Cows are found to eat themselves and their friends under infection. Found in all cattle types and other meat eaters. Links to cured with sheep's tears, if inject into subjects with mad cow - the symptoms disappear over 3 year recovery. Immediately disinterest eating meat as often is a slow process. The sooner the infection is caught, the more likely that recovery will be faster. 


CC / Crows cough - All birds with the infection are melty looking. This is because the body forces fluids of the infect through same place as oil for feather comes from. It has a acidic properly that melts soft surfaces. There is direct link to sheep's tear as cause but no research was made publicly. The mad cows has no affect of cure or immunity responses to this strain. 


children's stem cell converter (cscc) or c1a (according to systems of city networks) is simplified as cancer cell immunity which is sorted of a modified version of T cells. It directly uses stem cells within bone marrow. Converting them into whatever the DNA section it comes in contact with. It relies on stem cell counts, thus more present in children. 


Ddc198 is a modified virus created with parts of the c1a trigger cells and has its own DNA to overwrite stem cells. This is a modified by the specific method to alter DNA and it only targets DNA. However this coupled with c1a is called the transformation disease. In order to rewrite DNA within the cells of the disease, there has to be a high concentration of salt and water. This breaks down the protein protection of the virus and allows to replace DNA cells. 


Flesh eater - not a disease but a fungi infection. Mostly present when aged cells are preventing new cells (as cases of cscc / c1a are becoming more abnormal) from taking over, thus a bacteria-like plant prevent on skin surface gets into inflamed area and slowly eats away all area of flesh. It looks horrific and should be painful. However this infection coexist with the Crows cough acid burns - it seems likely the fungi infection can survive within a crow cough subject and be transmitted by fluid drops. Treatment of cleaning away the burn activates the increase rate of flesh eating. Better to sponge off then wipe away. Oils or powders prevent further spreading across body. It goes away once the flesh source is unable to sustain the infection growth.
