The next morning Frida had a sore neck.
She had fallen asleep with the book under her head to make sure no crows flew away with it.
It was a saturday, so Frida sat down to read it.
What was so special about the book that some crows would take it? she wondered.
Was there anything valuable in it?
She flipped through it.
She stopped at one side and read aloud:
One cannot change the fate, for the fate is determined, it has decided when you will be born and when you will die.
But are you not allowed to decide for yourself? thought Frida. Because in movies, the princesses often talk about that they finally get to choose their "own" fate…
While lying in her bed with the book in her hand, she felt it start to sting under the skin of her forehead.
She lay in a different position, but for our part she read, it swayed more and more!
Frida put the book under the pillow and went out to the kitchen.
There the mother sat and ate.
Mom? said Frida in a sweet voice. I have a little headache today.
Ok! say the mom. How?
I do not know, she replied.
Take some water and go out into the garden, said the mother and gave her a glass.
Frida drank it up, put the glass in the washing machine and went to the hallway.
It was raining outside so she put on boots.
When she walked out the door, she smelled the fresh, warm summerrain.
She was standing in the garden under a tree watching a bird trying to get an earthworm out of the ground.
Suddenly someone whimpered behind her.
It was Pine!
Hi! say Frida.
Hello. he answered. Are you ready for more practice !?
Yes! Frida nodded and joined him out in the woods.
Pine looked at her jump and approved it.
Good work! he said enthusiastically. Now we can move on to something a little harder.
What? asked Frida.
To climb up and down !! he replied, jumping up on a branch.
