81. Atlas

(A/N: I thought hard about it and I don't think I will make it a multiword FanFic. I want to make a Naruto one next. So, it will end after the Gods. Also, my new video on YouTube is Out. Go check it out.)

Kratos and I started to slowly make our way towards the end of The Land Of Grieve. We were still withstanding the onslaught of monsters and Land was starting to get visible from here. I quickly jumped from the back of my Gargoyle ride and landed on the ground, AllMight style.

"AAAH, It's so good to be on the land again". I said that while stretching my limbs a bit, even thought the monsters attacking us were still relentless. Kratos was using his somehow infinitely long chains to capture and ride different Gargoyles and keep up with me.

He landed next to me and immediately swung his chains in a circle around us. I ducked under his chains, making sure to not get my head lopped off. The monsters were burned and slaughtered instantly. It made a ring of chaos fire around us. It wasn't particularly hot but was really deadly.

"You could've warned me about it". I complained while looking at him like I was going to eat him alive for what he did. In response, he just looked at me for a bit and just continued on his way. Making me wholly pissed off.

Our co-ordination was getting better and better, while we fought. Like, how I dodged without him even saying anything. With experience that we had these couple of days, The coordination was bound to get better.

As I was musing to myself, Kratos was handling the monsters with his blades clad in fire. "Focus". Came a Gruff voice, breaking me away from my musings. I immediately made sharp chains of Ki and started to slaughter Monsters like Kratos.

This thing has really good Crowd Control. We were working together like chain buddies. Our chains dancing all around slaughtering monsters like cutting wheat. Blood and internal organs were splashing around. Blood and Gore filled the place around us.

The mysterious thing was that after a minute or two, the killed monster parts would vanish. Probably making more monsters and recycling those parts. It is better than garbage management in the Human world. But this also made sure that the Horde of Monsters was endless.

We would hack and slash in this never-ending onslaught of monsters. Me and Kratos were slowly making our way out of the encirclement. As we were slowly getting out of the Land of Grieve. We felt the rumblings and planking's with small earthquakes happening occasionally.

Kratos looked at me signalled me to be silent. I don't know, what's going on but I think I have some Idea. As we made our way forward. We saw a massive being, our bodies not even as big as its eyes.

Kratos, immediately went near the chains tied to the said being and started betraying them apart. "Who breaks my chains of Torment". Came the Voice of the being. He looked below and grabbed Grabbed Kratos like pinching an ant.

Kratos didn't really struggle all that under the force of the pinch. "You are far too small even for an Olympian". The being said and started squeezing by putting more pressure on Kratos.

"Atlas, you have to believe me". Kratos yelled under the pressure, not really struggling too much. Kratos looked a little aggrieved.

"And why should I trust you, after, all you have done". Atlas said that and again started squeezing.

"Because I want to kill Zeus". Kratos said in return, yelling in anger from uttering that hateful name.

Atlas let go and had Kratos on his hand."Interesting and How do you plan to accomplish that". Atlas said, a bit intrigued by hearing what Kratos said.

"I would have Destroyed Zeus that day if you hadn't Interfered. Slave of the Gods". Atas said to Kratos, his voice laced full of anger.

"I no longer do the bidding of the Gods. They betrayed my trust". Kratos yelled to Atlas in return to what Atlas said.

"Tell me the way to the Sisters". Kratos said to Atlas still yelling.

"Gaia has conveyed that you speak the truth. Very well, you are a worthy ally to the Titans. I will take you to the temple of the Sisters of Fate but that is all I can do for you". Atlas said after he closed his eyes for a while.

"Why did Cirus stop our way?" I said after landing next to Kratos, when all their talk was finished.

"Cirus had taken the offer from Zeus that if he stopped you. He will be let go of his punishment and walk the Mortal plains, once again". That got me thinking. This could mean that some Titans could very well have allied with the Gods to get benefits and let go of their punishments.

As I was musing all this to myself. Atlas suddenly shoved his massive hand right up in the Globe like thing that he was holding on his head. Atlas carries the whole Sky on his head, by Sky I mean the Universe. As Uranus was associated with Sky but universe was not a term at that time. So we can infer that he holds the Universe on his head.

This makes his strength ridiculously powerful. That some massive strength he got. At one point if I remember, Kratos held something that had nine Universes on his back. I cannot remember what it was but we roll with it. Now this truly tells how strong he is.

As he shoved his hand in the globe, we came face to face with a massive white temple with vast structures all around. Harpies and all kinds of souls and monsters were roaming the lands and the structures.

Next adventure for us is waiting.
