--Alexandria POV--
"I got this," I assured myself as I felt the carriage start to slow down, I patted my knee-length pink dress down, getting rid of the non-existent creases and tilted my lips up in a smile which masked everything I was feeling right now.
Ryder sat on the red cushioned seat opposite me, pecking at the fabric of the material he was sat on while I focused on calming my erratic heartbeat.
Why was I so nervous!?
Hesitantly, I pulled the curtain aside and peaked at the view outside, the grand white palace in the distance becoming larger and larger with every second I spent looking at it.
"Ryder... What was I thinking?" I squeaked out.
Almost as if he were telling me to stop panicking, he squawked and I jumped, my hand falling away from the curtain and it fell back in place, covering the view from my eyes.
"Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever been this nervous before?" I mumbled before waving my thoughts away.
