Chapter 32- An Intimidating Gaze

--Alexandria POV--

"Wow, I knew it. You look good in everything but the pink looks best on you," Beatrice gave my reflection a thumbs up and I smiled at her energetic self.

"I don't think this is pink," I told her and she rolled her eyes. "Champagne, pink, what's the difference?" Instead of coming up with a snarky remark, I decided to just roll my eyes at her before going back to admiring myself in the mirror while Eva finished styling my hair and Beatrice, my make-up.

It was a beautiful floor-length, champagne coloured dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves and expensive crystals coming up from the bottom in an ombre style. It had a deep V-neck which showed off some cleavage but Beatrice told me that it was the current trend and that other ladies would be wearing things much more revealing.
