Chapter 59- A Surprising Proposal

--Alexandria POV--

I bid farewell to all my friends on the island, including John and Otis. Nico followed me around as I did that but when I was greeting the crocodiles, racoons and snakes, he made sure to stay far away for some odd reason.

I didn't have much luggage but the most valuable item was John's letter.

The first thing I did once on the ship is going to stand on the main deck with Ryder stood by me on the railing. I loved the feeling of fresh, ocean air whipping passed me, I could understand why Amira loved the ocean so much.

I was enjoying doing that until Nico told me to go wash up. So, right now, I was in the en-suite bathroom in the ship as I got dressed into what was known as a more ladylike dress. I was reminded of the day when I was on my way to Lazarus with Val.

So much has changed since then and things aren’t as simple as I had used to think they were.
