Chapter 66- Wedding Bells

--Alexandria POV--

The week blew by in a blur and I barely had time to process what was happening until the day of my wedding where I am now getting ready, butterflies endlessly swarming around in my stomach.

Mother stood by my side as the maids smoothened out my dress. My wedding dress. Even at the thought of marrying Val brought tears to my eyes but I've never been more certain about anything.

"You look beautiful, sweetheart," She placed her hands on my shoulders, resting her head on my shoulder as we stared at our teary-eyed selves in the mirror.

She moved away from me, going to the vanity table and opening up the box that sat there, revealing a beautiful crystal tiara. She picked it up and I bent my head down as she placed it on my head before fixing the veil that sat under my bun, trailing down to drag behind my dress.

"It's beautiful," I whispered, staring at my beautiful reflection in the mirror.
