This is what Val had been waiting for all these years, all that hard work and pain he was forced to suffer through for his deceased mother, it was all for this short moment.

This short and deadly but satisfying moment was all we needed to win.

But it was as if Alpheus had been preparing for this moment too. Instead of losing the rest of his mind, his hand went to his back and pulled out a golden gun, pointing it at his son with a sadistic smirk plastered on his face.

"I killed Queen Sophia. She played her part and gave me three children and I had no use of her anymore so I got rid of her. Simple," He chuckled.

"Simple? I don't think any of this is simple," Val mumbled out, unaffected by the fact that he was being held at gunpoint right now. "But I must thank you for your confession. This is clear evidence that's more than enough to get you off the throne," Val said, folding the papers and handing them to Domenico who gladly took it
