Training: Exempted for the day

"When did the werewolves revolted against the humans?"

"Mid 1896."

"Who was our main supporter?"

"Hamad."

"What certainly happened to him?"

"His fellow humans committed a felony against him and killed him on the night of August 25."

"And you're done."

Ronald sucked in a huge breath as he felt like he was released from his mental jail. His elemental senses were coming back to him and he breathed in relief.

He cannot afford anything happening to him and his elemental because that would mean he cannot protect the people around him.

"Where did the witches get the brew's recipe from?"

"It was created by the royal alphas with the help of the elders nearly three centuries ago. Apparently they knew an elemental shall be born during those times. Don't worry. The Devil's got no clue about this."

Ronald was not sure if the king cracked a joke or was he trying to scare the elemental. Either way, the alpha politely bowed and took his leave for the day, wanting nothing but to get into the comfort of the bed, the sheets and his beautiful mate.

He tried transporting to the room to check his powers if they were intact and he was successful. He breathed in relief and greeted his mate who was sitting on the bed with a book in her hand.

"The history of wolves huh? You should ask me those because I aced today's IQ test!" He revealed and jumped happily, his joy flowing up until the ceiling.

"Whoa really!? That's great Ron! I'm so proud of you." She cheered him, walking towards him and kissing him to calm him down. Her kisses have done their job to make him dizzy, just like any other time.

He just felt so drunk and lightheaded when she kissed him, always.

"Let's get some rest. And go take a shower, please."

"Not you too." He whined but nonetheless sloppily walked into the bathroom.

The next day, he was exempted from his training and he used the day to invite his parents to the palace, again.

He was positive they are going to agree living here for the rest of their life but...he also thought about his home.

The homely feeling would be gone, for sure, but he has to adjust to the new life and surroundings in order to survive.

Stupid thoughts begin to flow into his mind and before he gets infected and paranoid by them, the car stops in front of his house as if on queue.

"Sir, you're at your house." The jovial driver pointed and Ronald got out of the black Tesla, setting his wrinkled pants and shirt. His denim jacket does him no good under the surprisingly warm weather and he decides to let it hang on his arm instead.

The door opens with the widest smile being offered, his mother greeting him profusely and kissing her boy all over the face.

"Ow ma! My back!" He exclaimed playfully, having bent uncomfortably for her height and receives an equally playful pout and a slap to the arm.

His father seems to be having working in the small farm of cabbages for the season, and he decides to talk with them whilst helping them out.

He immediately dives into action, helping his parents with the ploughing of land and drawing out lines with the rakes.

"Say, dad? If I were ever to bring up the topic of you moving into the palace, would you let me speak?" He asked playfully. His father paused working, just for a moment to process his son's words.

"Yes, go on." He finally said.

"Alright, so how about I help you guys move in within a week?" He enquires, wanting to have their opinions too. He was fine if they were to extend the time or even reject moving out of their home.

"A week huh? That's fine with me. What about you darling?" He turns to his wife who is carrying the basket of seeds, planting the seeds one at a time in the lined land.

"A week? I'm fine with it too. But you know what Ronnie? We old people are too attached with this house. You graced us with this house when you were born to us, baby. It was the happiest moment of our life." She had her memories reminisced as she looked at the sky above, the moment of almost two and a half decade's coming back to her like a lost piece of blissful information.

"Aw ma...you guys are the best." With that said, the family was absorbed with the tasks ahead and completed them in time before the afternoon sun dehydrated them.

Later on that day, Ronald helped his mom with lunch and dinner at the kitchen, being the best boy he is. He then bid them goodbye and kissed their cheeks as the car arrived right on time.

Though he is an elemental and fully capable of transportation within seconds, he thought he lost the touch with people and traveling. Hence, he chose to use a physical transport while he looked out of the window and observed things zoning out of his vision.

His head was half full of thoughts, now that he talked an important thing with his parents.

The remainder of the half were his worries.

And it mainly made of up of Gerald.

What the hell was he? The Moon Goddess doesn't even answer to him anymore. No amounts of summoning worked with him and he gave up after a week of failed trials.

This is absolutely obnoxious and weird.

He knew he was not going to be answered with his prayers soon. So he tries to live in the present and be conscious with protecting his people.
