CHAPTER TWELVE - FRUSTRATION

Marcus was on a clear path to become commissioner of the force, but always wanted a simpler life to relax and just to enjoy life with his family. However, life was never that simple and he was a marked man and was being hunted by several people inside and outside the Force. The list was growing longer by the week because of his principled stance on certain public matters. Marcus was described as calculating and cold, but was always well armed and charming. Only a select few were let into his inner circle to include Inspectors Delano & Augustus, whom he had known for almost two decades.
