"If we could only meet at different." As the three said the same sentence simultaneously they are all surprised.

"Hohoho. Don't tell me your heart waver even tho you chased me with all of your gangs back then," said Mike as he shows a smug face.

"Don't tell me some shit that it looks like it's my fault. You begin the war on us in the first place you troublemaker brat. Did you know how many of my men got injured because of you?! I remember the time when I first saw you at the assembling of every gang in Quezon City. You really have nerve back then to make us beaten by your petty little trick. Because of you all of the leaders order me to take revenge on you for what had you done to us!" Carlo with a vein popping out of his forehead shouted in irritation.

Mike replied; "Well too bad looks like that you can't accomplish your revenge because you will die here. In fact, my arms are getting tired holding this monster so it will be all matter in seconds before you will turn into food.

"Don't speak like I'm the only one who is gonna die here! You are the one who is nearest to the monster's mouth so if all of us gonna die you will be first! hahaha!" Carlo didn't let himself be defeated in arguments as he did not hold back his tongue even he is facing a kid.

"What did you say, you old geezer!?"

"I'm not old! I'm only gotten at the age of twenty-one!" Carlo replied shoutingly.

"HAHAHAHA!!!" As their argument continued Leo suddenly burst out in laughter as he looks at the two who are in an argument.

Leo continued; "I can't believe you have found a time making an argument here in the middle of a crisis. Just you know, we are still restraining this worm... Geez, when you both tell your story on what happened inside Q.C it makes me quite jealous that it makes me wish myself that I moved in the Q.C instead."

"Well, this boss started it."

"Like I said you, shitty brat! You started all of it!"

They are all having a conversation.

Everyone is gone from the ship as no one can see except the three.

Like a madman who doesn't give a damn care about their surroundings they all laugh.

Their last laugh.

The three knew it as they make every second worth of their time.

Leo asks a question to Mike; "Oh yeah, kid."

"Hm?"

"When we are about to leap to our deaths to this monster why did you join? I know that from the start that you prioritize your safety from everything even abandoning all of us." Leo said in a calm manner discarding his usual coolness.

Even he knew Mike might leave them he still trusted him. He didn't know why but he just trusts him that is why he is asking why he didn't leave.

Carlo also is curious as he looks to Mike with curiosity on his eyes.

Mike tried to dodge the question but he got no choice to answer.

"I-I don't why but I feel in my heart the envy from seeing you two takes a step to your death," said Mike as he averted his eyes away from them.

Leo only looks at him with confusion and Carlo only gives him a hysterical laugh.

"HAHAHAHA!! Seriously! And here I thought that you feel guilty about us but you are quite masochist to yourself!"

"It's not like that, you bastard!"

"Blah blah blah, You are really a weird one!" Carlo gives all of his feelings to his laughter showing his side that even the thugs didn't know.

A large smile from his face like a satisfied man who done his last job before retirement.

He laughs and laughs as Leo also can't hold back his laughter and laugh with all of his feelings into it.

Mike saw the two, he didn't know why but he also laughs all heartedly.

The sound of silence on the air was filled by their burst out laughter that it might even reach their voice through the end of the ship.

They all laugh and laugh until all of them finally calm down satisfied with their actions.

"My arms are getting tired."

"Mine too, this worm's limbs are just kept producing non-stop."

"Well then, this will be our last scene then?"

No one answered but no one is sad.

They all relieved that their friends are safe and traveling away from this bullshit that those scientist has made.

Everyone looks at each other faces for the last time and all nod as they knew what to do.

Mike release his hand away from the worm as he closed his eyes.

Carlo did the same.

Leo with all of his power gives a high power punch to the worm for his last draw and closed his eyes.

The worm flies through the fences and struggles its body to move instantly to them.

The three of its target closed their eyes as the worm sees its opportunity it hold the ground with its limbs preparing for a jump.

*THUD THUD*

A sound of something grabbing the floor as cracks was created but the three did not see as they only feel and hear.

A second later.

*BOOM!!*

Sound of something crashing the whole part of the floor and the sound of the ship crumbling as the worm lunches to them.

The ship trembled from its force as the three lost their balance and fall to the ground waiting for them to be eaten.

They did not dare peek as it will cause more pain if they saw their bodies getting eaten while they are still alive.

However, that thing did not happen.

They waited for seconds and open their eyes as to know why the worm did not jump.

But the answer was already in front of them.

A ship appeared out of nowhere from the mist hits the side of the shop where they are standing.

The collision is so hard that it makes the ship they are standing stops.

The ship the crash their ship stops in front of them leaving them safe from harm of getting crushed.

But the worm is unlucky as it was squash into bits as blood flow from its body non-stop covering the whole floor of the ship into the red.

Another gory scene happened in front of them.

Normally, they would give a relieved sigh as they avoid their deaths but...

They run straight to the fence of the ship to see what happened below.

(Don't tell me!?)

Holding hope they take a look at the sea.

However whats down there is not the sea but a full of gigantic bubbles covering the surface of the sea into foams.

The sea that covered with bubbles were so vast that you cannot see the end of it with your own eyes.

As they look at the sea they saw two lifeboats got crashed from the ship that collided.

Fire is already scorching from inside as no one is trying to escape showing that no one survives from the crash.

Mike and Leo hold their breaths from premonition that the two boats are not the ones where their friends onboard are. They can't know whos the people inside lifeboats because it has a roof that covered the top preventing them to see.

Carlo looks at the two boats that crashed with silence as he lost another bunch of his men.

The two remaining lifeboats are safe away from crashed as its drifted away from the ship but it's stuck between two gigantic bubbles.

They don't know if they should be happy or not as they avoided deaths.

While they are in the middle of a panic.

*BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM*

Sounds of gunshots can be heard from the other ship.

The three look at the ship with caution as they think there might be some people who also got kidnapped.

The sounds are coming from the stern of the ship.

The sounds of guns firing did not stop as it continues to get louder.

"It is just me or..."

"Stop it. I don't want to think about it."

The three knew what each other thinking when it comes to [that] so to avoid the feeling of despair the three did not talk about that topic.

They can only look from afar but they don't want to get involved.

The people there that got kidnapped are innocents but they do not know them.

If they tried to save them its useless because guards from the other ship are equipped with guns compared to the guards here where they only have a baton as their weapons.

They had a hunch on what the guards are targeting as they still continue to shoot.

"Since we survive might as well help the two lifeboats that stuck are there." Carlo pointed his plan and the two nodded in agreement.

"But how are we gonna go down there it's too fucking high?" said Mike.

Leo also said something with a worrying tone; "Yeah even if we can jump I don't know if that bubble-like thing could harm us."

The bubbles that Leo is pointing are gigantic never seen in their whole life or even the people in the whole world. Each of the bubbles has a different size but even the little one is still gigantic. They don't know whats is that phenomenon but they must do something on the two lifeboats.

"Hmm... I don't know this is real but..."

"What? Speak now."

"Because of many lifeboats appear here in one side of the ship I thought of something that there might be more of them."

"Then if that's the case-" As Carlo gonna state his words he got interrupted by Leo.

"But we don't know what place where the boats are placed."

"Yeah, that is why I thought there might be remaining at the other side of the boat."

They all proceed in the plan as they quickly ran to the other side.

They arrived in a short time but...

"Tch, out of luck, huh."

There are no more lifeboats available. They look below the ship and confirmed that the guards are already sailing using three lifeboats they got from here.

With no options available they all look down with regret on their faces.

"Dammit just when I thought that we luckily survive from everything we face." Leo grips his hand tightly as blood drips to the ground.

Carlo raised his head a little and look at Mike with a little hesitation in his action.

(Mike...)

Without raising his head Mike answered even tho Carlo hasn't uttered a word.

"I know."

The two can't Mike face properly when he is looking down but his eyes show that he is still not giving up as he racks another plan from his brain forcing it to go beyond its limit.

After a short brief moment, he raised his head high and speak with an exciting tone like he found a way to escape.

"At the stern! Let's go now!"

"W-what!?"

"You heard the kid. Like we have no other option other than to rely on the most intelligence of us three." Leo convinced Carlo even tho he didn't know a thing on what Mike had said as they follow him.

They already reach the stern the back of the ship basically where the brawl had happened.

Leo and Carlo didn't know a single thing on what Mike is doing as they reached the stern.

Mike looks from left to right again and again as he looking for something.

They went to proceed to the very end of the ship and finally, Mike found the thing he wanted to see.

"Fuck yeah!"

The two are amazed at him.

A single lifeboat barely hanging itself from the davit with only a single rope attached.

This may be the cause of the crash as to why the lifeboat is about to fall.

But still, this is a hope for them. As long the boat doesn't drop they could escape.

"Go!"

With shout came from Carlo as he knew what to do the three sprinted towards the boat.

Unlike other lifeboats, the lifeboat's front is facing down towards the sea as its intended to fall.

Mike quickly give orders to the two.

"Leo! Carlo! guard the single rope! I will do something about the inside!"

"I don't want to be commanded but fuck it!"

"Yeah yeah!"

They all proceed without stop. The rope is about to be cut off as it can't handle the weight of the boat.

Mike with bravery let himself inside even tho its dangerous but he trusts that Leo will not let the rope fall immediately.

(Fuck! Lifeboat my ass! This is complicated than lifeboats at the sides! Is this what you called emergency lifeboats!? What happens if a normal passenger got no choice but to take control of the wheel when the sailors are dead!? Grghhh... If you don't know what it means! Beat it!)

He takes a peek outside and shouted at the two of them who are staring at the roping with full of concentration onto their eyes.

"Guys! Nevermind about that hop on in!" Mike beck the two and they quickly went inside but they have a fear attached to their face as they think that the boat will fall at any time.

"Since I don't know how to remove the safety we'll force the boat to fall."

"Huh!?"

"Huh!?"

They all hesitate but as soon they saw Mike's eyes they all also take it seriously.

"Three, two, one. JUMP!"

Inside the boat three guys jumping up and down, if someone sees them they would think that they are weird.

But the thing they did is worth it.

The rope that barely holding the boat snaps and the boat falls wildy.

*SPLASH*

The lifeboat fell to the sea making a sound of like a splash from waters as it falls wildly as they pop a single gigantic bubble below them.

The three are all over inside the ship as they are not at their seats when the ship fell.

Luckily no one died but only one is injured.

Leo stands up as he feels dizzy from what happened and soon after he feels something tingly from his shoulder and found that something like pipe stabbed into him.

Carlo and Mike managed to recover and soon panics after they saw Leo.

"Quick! Find something near the seats! There should be a first aid kit there! And also bring out some food we are fucking hungry!" Mike shouted.

After a minute they managed to find a first aid kit and quickly treated Leo's wound on his shoulder and to his head.

They are all now seated resting as they talk to each other while eating.

"Phew. Who would have thought that there is a boat back there? I am really grateful that Mike is here with us." Leo said in a cool manner as he put a biscuit into his mouth.

"Well... With this, we can now save the two lifeboats that are stuck."

"The escape is near! Give me a war cry, my men!" Carlo rises from his seat and tried to increase the morale of the two like his own gang.

But the atmosphere he created got easily broken in an instant.

"Chill down. We must rest and recover our energy first. Like this lifeboat, others got also their food inside the boat so well just rest for a while." Mike said with a straight face showing the logic behind resting that they are doing.

"We are not your thugs so stop doing that." Leo also speaks a sentence that packs a punch.

"Fine by me! Be fucking thankful that I am trying my best to raise the mood here! But y'all ruined it! This is why I hate you two in the first place!"

Carlo shouted in anger as the two didn't give a damn to bother listening as they rest their bodies for a little.

And so they rest their body and plans the next thing they will immediately do after that.

To save the two lifeboats that are stuck between the two gigantic bubbles.
