Chaos had erupted around me. The people were screaming. Everyone seemed to have somewhere to run to but I couldn't lift my eyes from his. His eyes never left mine and even as his body went limp in Elpida's arms, they never left mine. It took me a few seconds to register that Teris... Teris was lying there. On the floor. Dead. He was dead. Gone. He was gone. Like Eos, they'd taken him from me.

My head swung around in search for the dark-haired maid who had no doubt been the one who poisoned him. I found her not long after, trying to flee from the room. "Orien!" I shouted amidst the chaos at the Head of Knight who seemed lost, staring at Teris' body.

"Orien!" I shouted again as I began running for Tabatha. In no time, I caught up to her.
