Chapter 22

“I can just imagine what you would’ve done.” I chuckled to myself as I rested on a bed of grass. The sun had just disappeared so the coldness was beginning to set in but I was too comfortable to move right now.

“You would’ve given him a piece of your mind then punched his daylights out. Then I would’ve had to try and calm you down and end up with a punch myself. Why did you always have to punch me? You knew you were just going to end up more upset after you did it then cry in my arms. You girls are weird.” I released a long exhausting sigh then smiled. “But I love you all the same.”

“Son, it’s time to go. We need to lock up.” The old man in charge of the cemetery informed me.
